you can say basically the same thing about penicillin, the internet, and indoor plumbing. none of those things were around for most of human history, but *spoiler alert* that doesn't have anything to do with anything unless "new thing bad!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111111" is really your political philosophy.

Those are examples of things that are not natural, fyi.

It's kinda weird seeing the same "government should stay outta private lives and how I raise my kids" people say "Government should be included in our lives and tell people how to raise their kids!"

and even if it the case that being trans is literally completely new to the 21st century (lmao please for the love of god read one fucking history book someday, i'm begging you), that doesn't really have anything to do with the fact that it's morally wrong to use the state to police gender identity.

If it were natural for children to be trans you would be able to cite cases of it in human history. We can find plenty of gay acceptance in ancient civilizations, so this claim that people were always too biased for it by everyone everywhere is clearly nonsense.

Trans people are only a new phenomenon insofar as anyone in years past who exhibited trans behaviors would have been dismissed as either a lunatic or a pervert. You might as well question why there aren't more openly gay people or people with mental illnesses throughout history. These concepts weren't understood by previous generations, and so they were entirely overlooked.

Actually, in Iran, they have no gay people. The Ayatollah explains that they have no actual homosexuals. They, of course, have people who suffer from various mental illnesses, which they treat medically and compassionately. But there are no gay people.

About one and half percent of people on earth are born genetically, morphological and biologically 'intersex'.

Despite the conservative story of two genders, these people do exist and in some cases want surgical and hormonal therapies.

Where are people like Actio80 supposed to get these therapies?

Hopefully this isn't gonna be a slippery slope of ensuring trans people are not allowed to exist anymore

Considering that trans children are a new phenomena which is coddled and promoted solely by the left, it's not clear that children should be allowed to be trans. Historically, trans children have not been a thing.

Today's trans children are really gay children with homophobic parents and teachers. See this video:

imagine being so pathetically afraid of seeing a man in a dress that you have to manufacture a narrative about children being in danger, even though it is many orders of magnitude more likely for a child to be abused by a parent/teacher/clergy than to even so much as hear the words "gender-affirming care" at any point growing up.

but y'all are the "fuck facts, i'm scared of my own shadow" party, so go for it, i guess.

Another great thing about Trump is that his policy announcement videos look like video game cut scenes from a hyper-conservative American dictatorship. This video is basically a dystopian announcement to any left-leaning woke who sympathizes with gender affirming care for children.

He's gonna have to define mutilation because that does include circumcisions.  It's genitalia mutilation of children.  I'm all for banning it but the Jews may not be so happy.

Of course, congress and the house need to pass the bill first.

Hopefully this isn't gonna be a slippery slope of ensuring trans people are not allowed to exist anymore.  You know, like the government telling adults what they can't put into their bodies.
