Isn't it interesting, though, here on the forum where there's the opportunity to defend the theory, to explain how the Sun stays the same size in the sky as it's moving further away, that it disappears even when there's supposedly a clear line of sight to it - there's nobody in the entire flat Earth community willing to explain their point of view.

Except for the books we have written over the last 150 years and the Wiki which talks about that, right?

So, in the space of one sentence;

• Avoidance - simply failing to respond
• Giving a list of references that supposedly completely answer everything

If your response is "Look at the books I/we have written" (but not mention any book(s) in particular) and/or "It's all in the Wiki" (but fail to cite anything in particular in the Wiki), then why have this forum at all?

It's true the wiki doesn't talk about GPS per se, but it does discuss the NASA hoax.

What's it got to do with NASA?  Most of the satellite launches upcoming are not NASA launches. Only some of the satellites already in place are operated by NASA.

Have a look at planewavemedia on YouTube, especially their recent 'tracking' videos, and tell everybody here what you see.  I see a company that has developed telescope tracking software that allows them to track orbital satellites in real time. If there weren't any satellites, they wouldn't have anything to track.

Baseless assertion. As far as I know, you've conducted no study/poll of the number(s) of regular folks who have observed this, or are concerned with it, so you're in no position to dismiss either my observations or the observations of others as falling below your arbitrary level.

So far I do not buy the premise here.  Since I only see one face of the moon, why does it have to be a sphere?

Phases of the Moon, shadows upon the surface show it be a sphere from personal observation.

Careful observation by astronomers (yes, I know, not my personal observation) of the slight variance in the visible outer edge, due to irregularities in the orbit, reinforce this.

Assuming by "they" you mean the various space agencies, then do you believe those who monitor the work OF the space agencies? Those who are independent of them?

The rocket pictured in that video was setting, or attempting to set, a height record for an amateur rocket. I believe it attained 73 miles. You can work out the distance to the horizon, compared with that distance at lesser heights, if you want. Or others can work it out for you.

Was it "high enough to see the curve"? I don't know. But there's plenty of other proof of it from 50+ years of orbital spaceflight....

Well, since humankind as a whole has seen solar eclipses for hundreds of years, and since the 1700s or so, we've been predicting successfully, and observing, transits of Venus and Mercury across the face of the Sun, you would have to accept that it's farther away than all three of these celestial objects, wouldn't you?

They could just CGI the whole thing or use green screen.

OK, there's one tranche of disbelievers saying it was filmed underwater, and another saying it was CGI/Green Screen.

Can they both be right? If not, why do we never see them arguing amongst themselves? 

Why do we never see this with other Team Hoax contradictions?

Go to the 4:30 sec mark and watch the Chinese spaceship footage.

The side view is clearly an animation, but the rest looks OK.

What a joke compared to NASA movies. Yet the USA backed the Chinese and said they did go to the moon.
Just look at the air bubbles coming from the underwater filming scene.
What a joke.
The Tesla car has air bubbles as well but nothing like that low budget Chinese film.

"What a joke" hardly qualifies as quantitative analysis. Can you prove that any of the 'air bubbles' are actually air?

Why do around the world yacht races circle Antarctica and not the Arctic?

Because there's no viable route around the Arctic due to the land masses of Europe, Scandinavia, Russia, Canada, etc. There's clear seas in the Antarctic. Less land.

You'll be unsurprised to learn I've done a thread on TV transmissions before. It ran for 30 odd pages. I did one on GPS before ... in fact I did many. I know your objections, I know the sources I'll have to dig up again ... and I don't want to. I joined this thread because it was about the end of TFES due to space tourism. You no longer want to talk about that and I have lost interest.

I'm just following on from what you said at #13 and #23. i.e.  space is fake, and SpaceX payloads get to their destinations using balloons... so I think you led the thread here.

... but you're not linking to anything which supports your case. You say all sat transmitters in the UK point North, and back this with a single microwave link, which may even be a receiver, not a transmitter, and provide NO indication of its orientation or location .....

Those aren't dish transmitters for your 'satellite' dish.

Those are actual TV transmitters in the UK. I didn't say they were broadcasting satellite TV. You're the one claiming that all satellite TV transmitters point North, I'm showing you what TV transmitters look like, without any compass orientation. 

Can you provide a specific verifiable instance of a TV transmitter in the UK with a Northerly orientation?

Please show examples of these TV transmitters which "face North".....

Here's the Kirk O'Shotts transmitter in Central Scotland - which is the North face of it? Nearest the camera? Left? Right?

I've been receiving TV in the UK for many years. I know where the TV transmitters are. I know where my local cell masts are. I can look them all up from online sources to confirm what they are.

I've moved between locations, and had to retune analogue and digital terrestrial TVs because of those changes, but whenever it came to installing a satellite system - it always points to that same spot in the sky. 20-odd degrees elevation, and South. Never toward a transmitter or a mast.

Please, please, tell me the source of my 'indoctrination' ....
