Also, just thinking, but if the earth was flat and the sun always above us, wouldn't that make sunset impossible?
For the love of Bambi, read the FAQ already.

But their photos were password protected, so the door was locked.
Well, not really. A bad password is more akin to a door handle. It provides fantastic security assuming the person trying to break in doesn't have hands (Actually, that's untrue. My cat knows how to open doors, being the sneaky hacker that she is).

Our society is just painfully computer-illiterate.

Some people have no choice but to live in a bad neighborhood. If they live in a bad neighborhood then they probably can't afford to have a good alarm system. It's not their fault for living in a bad situation and having someone take advantage of it.
Sure, in some cases, people simply can't take care of their homes' security. That's kinda tragic and it would suck if someone blamed them for it. I'm quite convinced none of the celebrities involved are affected by this issue.

This is more akin to leaving the door of your luxury mansion wide open, going for a month-long vacation, getting robbed, and claiming that you have absolutely no share in the blame.

Yes, the thief is the one guilty of committing a crime. There's no denying that. However, it's naive to say that you take no responsibility for the security of your home/data/hot hot porn pix.

if its a fish eye lens, prove it.
It's not exactly a disputed fact, you know:

If you need proof, I refer you to simple geometry. With a normal human field of view (about 135°), the curvature you'd expect to see at this altitude if the earth was round (or under EAT conditions) would be reasonably clear, but not *that* obvious.

sun
Please stop doing this. It's not just that it's unhelpful and pedantic, but you're virtually never right when it comes to the subtleties of English grammar. We'll be better off without you causing unnecessary confusion with your under-researched remarks.

Names of celestial bodies: Mars, Saturn, the Milky Way. Do not, however, capitalize earth, moon, sun, except when those names appear in a context in which other (capitalized) celestial bodies are mentioned. "I like it here on earth," but "It is further from Earth to Mars than it is from Mercury to the Sun."

It merely requires saying, "I can't prove either way definitively. Therefore I shall not worship." That is rather lazy to me.
Please worship Big Papa Franklin, a guy I just made up. I didn't really establish much about him yet, but I know that he is either green or large, but definitely not both. He totally exists and will be the next big religion in a few hundred years; and if you doubt it, you're lazy.

You have no more proof that God does NOT exist than I have that he does.
Indeed. If we did, we would be getting some sort of award for proving that informal logic as we know it is completely moot.

We do not need to categorically deny the existence of a god. We merely reject the notion, since it's unsubstantiated. Similarly, you cannot disprove my claim that I'm a millionaire, but it doesn't make you irrational to just take my word for it.

This is the moment when we all realise we're not engaged in conversation with a rational person.
I think this is something we were aware of for a long time now.

As was made clear to you in the discussion you posted, this effect is attributed to wind currents. Since you didn't address that at all, I'm not sure what you mean when you say it has "yet to be proven wrong". Just because you ignore a response doesn't mean there wasn't one, bubby.

For your other question, I suggest you read the FAQ.

Oh, and I'm renaming this thread so that it's actually useful.

But no one is really focusing on the interviewers and their integrity when they write good reviews just cause they got some tail.
What do you mean? A large part of the fuss here is precisely people focusing on the interviewers and their integrity.

Still not bothered about the countless innocent victims who would die, eh?
He already made it clear that he'd like for the UN to dissolve and for America (with its best buddy Israel) to wage war on literally the entire world. Why would he care about innocent victims?

That's exactly a polite way to start a debate. Hiding my determination of the inaccuracy of your claim would be impolite.
You're mistaking honesty for politeness. It's possible to be both honest and impolite (as you have demonstrated), largely because the two are unrelated.

I wish I could play Civ 5 like Russia plays the world. In the game, you can't actually attack another civilization without declaring war. I don't see why I can't send units into my enemies cities and then tell the AI "they're not mine, never seen them before, no idea what you're talking about, DON'T MAKE ME NUKE YOU!"
Play Europa Universalis IV. Still not quite Russia, but you can pay rebels who then liberate their nation, are immediately friends with you, and are usually very easy to diplomatically vassalise and annex :^)

And that is relevant how? The UN has long ago failed in its purpose, let them bleat about "international law" all they wish
Let's hope most of your kin do not subscribe to these views. UN member states outnumber Israel quite significantly.

Banning the word "nigger" would be a dealbreaker for me, and as far as I know, for Parsifal too.

Have you agreed on this yet? There is no point in pushing on with technicalities when deal breakers still hang in the air.
Our proposal is to use the current set of rules of tfes.org with the possibility of minor tweaks if those become necessary1. Daniel admitted that he finds it difficult to find the balance between overmoderation and undermoderation, and we have his concession to carry on with our moderation and administration team/approach pretty much as-is. One condition on his side is that he gets to still be an admin as a preventive/emergency measure, but he has no intention to interfere with how things are managed. So yeah, this is as good as agreed.

1 - I genuinely can't think of any tweaks right now. It's likely that none will happen. I just don't want to promise that because I expect that a larger influx of noobs may pose some new challenges.
