The state needs to use the police to enforce its will upon the people so that the national will may be obtained.

The only way forward in any society is Fascism.

I'm from Ireland but I personally believe they all fucking suck here. So... what's new?

It is highly useful and (especially in Europe) we need to push for its use.

You do really wonder what some Irish people do be doing still following that fucking church. Anyway, this is a case of a paedophile. A lot of the rapes, however, stem from the repressed sexual urges of Priests due to them not being able to marry/have hoes. Doesn't make it right, but I feel like it answers why, at least.

That answers why they look at porn in general, not child porn. And this isn't just a one time thing that we can attribute to psychological problems of this one individual. Many priests have been caught with CP or just straight up violating children.

The CP is actual paedophiles, the rape is due to younger boys being (especially in the past) around Priests alone for so long.

I took 2 years of French in middle school, 2 years of Spanish in high school, and 2 years of German in college. I suck at all of it.

I wanted to take Gaelic in college but they didn't offer it. I picked up on German better than the other two but I was more interested and more invested in making good grades. I dislike Spanish but French is really interesting if only because they don't pronounce half of the letters.

Which Gaelic? :) Irish or Scottish? Or perhaps Welsh?

You forgot Manx

I just thought it was far too unlikely.

You'd be correct. We do not assume all Gaelic is Irish. Our own education system makes sure of that.
Interesting.

Well then the Irish I've known are dicks. Or like you said, they just thought I meant Irish because I'm American.

Could easily be one or the other.

Although I am impressed that as an Irishman you would even ask. Most Irish just assume you mean Irish Gaelic.

Not quite. Most of the time if you're American we presume you mean Irish because you usually do. This is at least true for the people I know.

Citation? I very much doubt that to be the case.

I think the dialect you're looking for is "hipster".

Yes, yes, it's hard to be a gamer in the oppressive dystopia that our Tumblr overlords have set up, given the huge amount of influence and relevance they wield these days.  Stay strong, my brother.  We shall endure.

It's not hard to be a white woman in America either.
Unless they get a stalker who wants to kill them. That's kinda hard.
That doesn't happen too often. While there are a lot of problems to be addressed, some people act like it's Saudi Arabia.

I'm actually not really pushed for either side but as an Irishman I can only bring myself to bear the Scottish flag on my avatar, never the Union Jack. So here we are.

Zoe Quinn seems like an utter arse. I can't see how anyone outside of disagreeable women and white knights would defend her but whatever.

It's looking like a no, anyway. I'm kind of upset, since I like the idea of Ireland not being alone with the U.K. on the British and Irish Isles but we'll survive.
Based on another poll?
I wonder how tired they are of taking polls on the subject.

This is what I am reading: http://www.rte.ie/news/2014/0917/644289-scotland-referendum/ Probably pretty tired. It's the real deal now, though.
