"Prepareforchange dot whatever"... is part of the Sisterhood of the Rose and somehow associated with some guru named Cobra:

What is the Prepare for Change Network?
A global network of Event Support and Sisterhood of the Rose Groups has formed out of the participants who joined through the website.

At inception the website invited other followers of Cobra to join the Network and Groups to Prepare for the Event and help create the New Society.

Basically some sort of Qanon-esque wannabe.

All you have to do is listen to the first 30 seconds of this whacko galactic age of Aquarius portal discussion with "Cobra" and to get the drift just how insane this group is and how ridiculous their "articles" are...

Here's Cobra's site with an opening blog post excerpt from a few days ago. Beware...

http://2012portal.blogspot.com/

There was a huge escalation between the Chimera group and the Light Forces on October 15th, and extraordinary measures were taken. The situation was spiraling out of control, and since the Light Forces around the Earth could not contain the situation anymore, urgent reinforcements from Andromeda galaxy who are experts in dealing with the Chimera group sprang into action.

Yep, totally legit...C'mon J-Man, seriously? How do you find this nonsense?

They have never convinced even one flat earther to believe the Lies.

Not one flat earther has convinced a glober that the Earth is flat. Touche.

No one has seen the curvature of the earth.

Au contraire mon frère...Capt. James T Kirk has...

In this exclusive excerpt from William Shatner’s new book, “Boldly Go: Reflections on a Life of Awe and Wonder,” the “Star Trek” actor reflects on his voyage into space on Jeff Bezos’ Blue Origin space shuttle on Oct. 13, 2021.

"I saw a cold, dark, black emptiness. It was unlike any blackness you can see or feel on Earth. It was deep, enveloping, all-encompassing. I turned back toward the light of home. I could see the curvature of Earth, the beige of the desert, the white of the clouds and the blue of the sky. It was life. Nurturing, sustaining, life. Mother Earth. Gaia. And I was leaving her."
    - William Shatner

Thats obviously conclusive then he is obviously having flashbacks to an earlier life.  :D ;D :D :D

Conceivable.

On a similar note it amazes me how many globalists refer to the sun as 'rising' and 'setting' in the sky. Sorry to spoil the party but scientifically it doesn't rise or set. According to you we orbit it therefore it cannot 'rise'.

Don't worry, we globalists are well aware of this. However, technically, you're quite a bit off. Sunsets and sunrises are due to the Earth's rotation on its axis - Every 24 hours...Not our orbit around the sun.

From a frame of reference for humans, it appears that the Sun is rising up from below the horizon. Would it make you more comfortable if instead of saying,  "I'll meet you at sunset" would you rather we say, "I'll meet you when the globe has rotated to the extent that we have spun just far enough around so that at our location the Earth is about to obscure the suns rays from shining on us"?

I guess Stew Peters is going to make a bunch of money with his video advertisement for his "buy Gold" pamphlets disguised as an actual fact based "documentary". Just shows a sucker is born everyday - A modern day snake oil salesman he is.

Buy some gold from him and protect yourself from the NWO population control death panel cabal. Seems totally rational.

Seeing as almost every major media outlet has advertisements, this is a rather poor argument. It appears that you do not actually have a legitimate argument.

Now for the legit argument from McGill University:

The Anti-Vaccine Documentary Died Suddenly Wants You to Feel, Not Think

Members of the anti-vaccination movement and of its media arm excel at portraying themselves as “those who care.” The rest of us—scientists, doctors, politicians, journalists—are represented as either apathetic or simply evil. The latest “documentary” to emerge from this movement, Died Suddenly, is an exercise in reframing compassion. It also represents the apogee of conspiritualist ideas, where grand conspiracy theories surrounding vaccines are painted on a canvas so large, they involve a Biblical war between the forces of absolute good and those of pure evil.

Who are portrayed as ringing the alarm for Armageddon in Died Suddenly? Embalmers.

The documentary’s smoking gun is the alleged discovery of long, white, fibrous clots in the deceased bodies of people who, we are told, got vaccinated against COVID-19. Sometimes, their blood also looks dirty, like it contains coffee grounds. This claim seems to have originated from Richard Hirschman, an embalmer in Alabama, who spoke about it to The Epoch Times, a frequent vehicle for misinformation and grand conspiracy theories. Hirschman and a few other embalmers testify to their findings in Died Suddenly, with some being blurred out, their voices altered, like they are sharing secrets so damning they’re about to be shipped to their local witness protection program.

The problem is that embalmers and funeral directors are not medical professionals. Don’t take it from me, but from the National Funeral Directors Association in the United States, whose representative told me as much, and from Ben Schmidt, a funeral director and embalmer with a bachelor’s degree in natural science. Schmidt wrote a detailed explanation of what is happening here. Clots can easily form after death, as the liquid and solid parts of blood separate and as formaldehyde and calcium-containing water used in the embalming process catalyze clotting. Refrigeration can also be to blame, especially when a rapid influx of bodies due to COVID necessitates longer stays in the cooler as embalmers make their way through their backlog.

The article goes on to explain...

As anatomical pathology specialist Irene Sansano told a fact-checking website, the clots shown by Hirschman do not look different from the ones pathologists regularly see in blood clot autopsies at the hospital.

But if the sight of strings of clotted material isn’t scary enough, Died Suddenly is willing to make its title even more manifest by showing us rapid-fire montages of people fainting and seemingly dropping dead. Out of context, these videos are distressing. However, The Real Truther account on Twitter has demonstrated that many of them are not what they seem. The woman who passes out and falls into a moving train? Her name is Candela. She fainted because of low blood pressure and survived with a fractured skull. That young basketball player who collapses on the court? His name is Keyontae Johnson, and his fainting took place on December 12, 2020, before the COVID-19 vaccines were readily available. He has since been medically cleared to play and recently signed with Kansas State. These people are not dead. To borrow a phrase from the conspiracy playbook, we have been lied to.

The video is just fear mongering garbage to scare retirees into buying gold to stave off the non-existent evil NWO cabal that lurks among the coastal elite establishment. That's all it is. Garbage.

Off the top of my head, things that can negatively or positively affect flight times:
- Weather, re-routing around, jetstreams
- Late arriving aircraft
- Waiting for connecting passengers/baggage
- Mechanical
- Traffic
- Waiting on crew
- Route changes

All in all, pretty complex...

The outbound versus inbound, in a straight line, would be the same. How might a round earth cause a mis-calculation making each different?

I see your point.  Why can't you just see the Sun and every other celestrial object 24/7 with a big enough telescope...

The answer is there's a few things which may explain this...   Perspective, or the natural tendancy for distant objects to appear lower to a viewer, atmospheric interference - like fog except over 1000's of miles, or refraction which is the bending of light or images off the atmosphere...  The below link offer's an example and other ideas/objections to consider.

See "Comprehensive explanation of sunsets" https://forum.tfes.org/index.php?topic=19650.0

Just some potential issues with the explanations:

- Perspective: The problem with perspective is that objects. , as they gain distance from the observer, decrease visually decrease in size. The Sun does not as it's making its way across the sky toward setting at night time. It does not visually decrease in size.
- Fog: For fog to be a reason why the Sun disappears, this fog phenomenon would have to be present everywhere on earth, for every viewer, everyday and timed perfectly to expected day and night.
- Refraction: Refraction is variable. Can be light, can be strong, can be non-existent. Depends on the environment. Again, we bump up against this refraction phenomenon would have to be present everywhere on earth, for every viewer, everyday and timed perfectly to expected day and night.

A couple of questions if you don't mind. From a science perspective; if gravity did not exist and as a consequence let's say that everything floated 'on air' so to speak. Would it be fair to say that science would then want to know why things floated and why they did not fall to the ground (as opposed to why things do not float and do fall to the ground)? And if so why would we think there was something preventing us falling (as we seem to wonder why we don't float for example)?

This is a weird question.  Science doesn't look for reasons why things don't happen unless there is a reason to think they should happen.  If there was no gravity, why would anyone think something was preventing us from falling?  The obvious answer to why we don't fall would be there was no cause or force to make it happen.
That's exactly my point. You state that science doesn't look for reasons why things don't happen unless there is a reason to think they should happen. So what made science go looking for reasons why things fall to earth? Its no different to science looking at reasons why we would float and not fall to earth.

Because humans, regardless of science, tend to try and figure out how things work or don't work. Where do you think religion came from? Basically trying to make sense of the world.
A part of doing so is trying to figure out how things work or don't and an off-shoot, in doing so, some people try to make things better and/or exploit, create something new and understanding how something currently works or doesn't aids in that.

It's unclear what you think the mystery is.

And as far as the ship video is concerned, how large a wake do you propose a cruise ship would make?

Apparently, not that big...

Was the curvature put in for good measure or just a wide angle lens proving that these days the camera always lies?  :D

No. It's a fish-eye lens. And the video has nothing to do with curvature. The intent of the video, which you have completely missed, is to show that cruise ship wakes aren't monstrously large as suggested by another poster. You might want to actually read the posts and understand the context before launching into something completely irrelevant.

I think if you reread my post you will see that it was an incidental comment and coincidentally it is relevant as the topic was concerned with curvature of the earth. And fish eye lenses don't help with proving that theory. I completely accept you were videoing the wake and found it humorous that a false curvature was incorporated into the images.

You're still missing the point and strawmanning your way though this. The video was never intended to visually represent the curvature of the earth. It simply was showing the much smaller size of the wake from a cruise ship than previously asserted by another poster. That's all.

Just to satisfy your strange need, here's another one:

Flat horizon, tiny wake. Feel better now?

Can science explain why we are travelling as fast, and as far in in the direction we are travelling (following the sun through billions of miles) Can anyone offer a reasonable explanation? Thats what I find hard to understand - so its logical to think of a flat earth and work feom that - not the other way round.

First off, the "cartoon" was not meant to be proof of anything. Just a simple explanation of how RE works.

Secondly, and better still, can science explain why the earth is stationary and flat with other orb-like cosmic objects hovering above it? Can you offer a reasonable explanation?

You realize that cardinal directions, East, West, North, South, are terms humans invented, right? If I'm in London, New York is closest to my left, West, if facing North. If I'm in Honolulu, New York is closet to my right, East, if facing North. The opposite if facing South. There is no hard and fast top or bottom or left or right.

Lastly, people in Australia are not hanging upside down. Just ask an Aussie friend.

I know they are not hanging upside down - I am using the scenario that if the world was a globe then they (or at least someone) would be hanging upside down.
Regarding top, bottom, left or right. Just because there are no hard and fast rules doesn't mean the earth (if it were a globe) would not have a top. Everything else in the natural world has a top and a bottom. Why not the earth and the planets? Do the planets not have a top? Who says they don't?

Here's how it works on a Globe Earth:

This opposite force created by accelerating matter is new to me...  I'll investigate and thank you for your time.

Tron, just examine this:

What's really interesting about it is that the sled on the left is propelled at half the speed at the the sled on the right. Reason being, the left sled is twice the mass as the right sled sled. Pretty cool how that works.

Additionally, it's a pretty clear example of Newton's 3rd. You have to ask yourself why do the sleds both propel and why do they propel opposite one another. It clearly demonstrates exactly what you mentioned: "opposite force created by accelerating matter".

Keep exploring. There's lots of cool stuff around rockets, physics, etc.

With Senate control, at this pace, the next 2 years is gonna be a Blue Tsunami of judges appointed.

We’re gonna get from the house 2 years of inconsequential hunter biden inquests and that’s about it.

This understanding of government is poor. The House does more than inquests. Bills must pass through both chambers. Republican control of the House means that Democrats can't pass any of their socialist or partisan legislation or spending bills. It operates on simple majority for most things, with exception of a few cases where 2/3 supermajority are required, for things such as overriding presidential veto or suspending rules of the House. See: https://sgp.fas.org/crs/misc/98-778.pdf

Mostly irrelevant since Republicans control the Supreme Court - the highest authority which has the final say and sets national precedent.

Nice work captain obvious. Of course the House can do more than just inquests. But my point is that nothing will happen legislatively for the next two years. The House majority will block every Dem proposal, no matter the merit. They will put forth their own MTG whacko agenda that will die mercifully in the Senate. So all that the House majority will end up doing is sitting around trying to expose the monster that is Hunter Biden.

Which is fine.

In the mean time, the Dems in the Senate will be packing the Fed courts full of as many judges as capacity will allow.

Which is great!

womp, womp

The other win is the comedy that will ensue with the Gaetz & Greene clown show as they try to gut the moderates in the party. Popcorn on standby.

It will be kinda fun to watch the House GOP, with a slim margin, tear itself to shreds with infighting whilst the Dems pack the courts over in the Senate.
