The Sun and gravity

If the Sun rises and sets, that would mean the earth would have to be facing vertically, right? What about your theory of gravity. Ya know. It being the upwards acceleration of the Earth? If the Earth is vertical there are periods of no upwards acceleration. If the Earth was horizontal there would be no upward acceleration AT ALL cause of how it's orbit is

Not sure just what you're asking here, but remember under the FE hypothesis the Earth doesn't orbit the sun. It just accelerates in one direction, the sun rotates around the pole(s) above it.
