Hi, guys. Newbie here. Glad to be a new member of the FE society. I just want to ask is the Earth an  infinite terrain or is it  the disc floating in space? If it's the latter, how would I convince my friends as to what makes the disc float in space? I'm so lost or maybe I need to go FAQ section.

It's not an infinite terrain. As explained by Dr Rowbotham, the ice wall encircles the earth and extends for hundreds of miles where hurricanes rage, temperatures plummet to inhospitable levels, and light is eventually lost to perpetual darkness.

Dr Rowbotham was also able to explain that earth floats on the waters of the great deep. Certainly, I would direct you to read Dr Rowbothams work, Earth not a globe, if you haven't already.

The Flat Earth Society does not know. There are multiple ideas but there are problems with both finite and an infinite disc hypotheses. One of their active members might suggest that you self-fund the research and find out for yourself.

My suggestion is, look elsewhere for knowledge.

I'm new here too, but it didn't take long, though, to realize that the answers given to questions like yours are basically statements of faith.
Very often you'll be referred to a certain Samuel Rowbotham, a Victorian inventor who made a name for himself claiming the Earth is flat. He is the ultimate, infallible authority on all things flat. If he has spoken, the matter is settled.
You'll also get plenty of mutually excluding ad hoc explanations to obvious flaws in their model, and you'll experience an unbelievable willingness to disregard cold, hard facts.

Infinite plane makes no sense because if UA is a thing then because the plane would have infinite mass (itself a rather silly idea) then no amount of force could accelerate it.

Disc makes no sense because there would be nothing to stop the atmosphere leaking off the sides. Unless you have a physical dome, which some FE models do.
But is there any material which could make a physical dome that size and not just break apart under their own weight? I suspect not.

Right. I quite like the infinite plane theory. It's batshit crazy of course but it does solve some of the problems of a disc.
Not all of them though and creates a bunch of other problems.

Hello and welcome. I hope you weren't scared away by our resident horde of Round Earth trolls. They just can't help themselves but answer FE Q&A with "whale I think the Earth is round, h'nyeeee". It's so sad that they rarely have anything else to add.

The Flat Earth FAQ is definitely a good place to start! Currently, the Flat Earth Society's focus is the shape of the known Earth - that is, the commonly known continents - and not what may or may not lie beneath. It is generally a common agreement that it goes on for quite a while beyond that, up until the point where conditions become so inhospitable that they would be unexplorable at this point in time.

As for what makes the Earth "float", this is generally known as the Universal Acceleration.
