Hey I’m new here and I’m very interested in learning. I was wondering if someone could explain the way we see the sun rise and set. When it rises it is the same size as when it sets. I feel that if it went in circles around the disk earth that when it rose it would be smaller and get bigger until noon, then it would get smaller towards sunset. Wouldn’t it disappear in the distance like if you were watching a ship sail away in the ocean? It seems like if the earth was flat why does the sun disappear over the horizon?

It's one of the strongest proofs that earth is not flat and its one question that us round earthers have not received a satisfactory answer for. Mainly because it can't be answered in a flat earth context.
