I know you're being sarcastic, but it really would be. The competitive advantage aside from perhaps a psychological advantage because quarterbacks like a certain "feel" to the ball, is negligible and Aaron Rodgers essentially said he likes to push league ball specifications for his benefit. "cheating" I feel is too strong a word, just like I wouldn't call someone pulled over for speeding a "criminal". It's just really dumb, like speeding, they pay the fine and move on.
