They are saying how I'm sure everybody will be a flat earth believer soon? Because I'm knowing to reading the statistics.

This is my last working for calculating the number of FE believers:

Quote from: İntikam, 06 April 2017
We don't know the ecaxt value of believers in the world. Actually there is no a valid method to detect it. But we can use some method of estimation.

In a work, we detected number of believers as 500.000 by using the method of "number of videos".

This time, we'll use the method of "comparing searchings".

It is meaning full There is a relevant between a belief and its number of searching. Also Education and welfare status affect to number of searchings. So We can not say it is exactly right. But may give approximate approximation to reality.

First We'll use the number of searching of main beliefs:

According to wiki, the populations of some beliefs:

source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Major_religious_groups

(religion / in millions)

Christianity 2,200
Islam 1,703
Hinduism 1,100
Buddhism 488
Sikhism 23
Judaism 17
Flat earth ? (we are trying to calculate this)

Now we search on google by direct name of this religions:

Religions: search by term:

Jesus 890.000.000
Bible 458.000.000
christ 424.000.000

Islam 455.000.000
muhammed 60.000.000
mohammad 160.000.000
محمد. 780.000.000  محمد.
quran 118.000.000

Hinduism 25.000.000
Hindu 168.000.000

Buddism 56.800.000
Buddha 167.000.000
Buda 55.100.000
Dharma 48.500.000

Sikhism 4.480.000

Judaism 36.400.000

Flat earth  9.330.000

As we see that some of religions Identified with someone. The searching of Jesus is more than Christ or bible. And name of the mohammad by arabic is more than islam, quran and others. So I'll get these names instead of a religion. And we'll calculate a rate by "Number of search / number of believer)

Term / Number of search / Number of Believer / Reverse ratio

1- jesus 890.000.000 / 2.200.000.000  (X 2,47)
2- Ar.Mohammad 780.000.000 / 1.703.000.000  (x 2,18)
3- Hindu 168.000.000 / 1.100.000.000 (x 6,54)
4- Buddha 167.000.000 / 488.000.000 (x 2,92)
5- Sikhism 4.480.000 / 23.000.000 (x 5,13)
6- Judaism 36.400.000 / 17.000.000 (x 0,46)

The possible reason of difference of judaism than others means other Abrahamic people interest with judaism. This is understandable.

We see that generally there is a relevant with number of believers and  number of terms. It is usually changing by 2 to 7 times.

Even if the number searching of judaism misleading, we use it too by to be unbiased.

Now we'll estimate number of flat earth believers by using the ratios of the religions/terms:

1- (x2,47) 9.330.000 = 23 045 000
2- (x2,18) 9.330.000 = 20 339 000
3- (x6,54) 9.330.000 = 61 018 000 (max)
4- (x 2,92) 9.330.000 = 27 243 000
5- (x 5,13) 9.330.000 = 47 863 000
6- (x 0,46) 9.330.000 = 4 291 800 (min)

So; number of believers should be between 4 millions to 61 millions.

As an average value, we can accept the number of believers as 30 633 000 as of April 2017. I know this is amazing, but statistics do not lie.

SOURCE OF QUOTE

Find out the number of believers by comparing 2017 April and June search statistics:

April 2017
1- jesus 890.000.000 / 2.200.000.000  (X 2,47)
2- Ar.Mohammad 780.000.000 / 1.703.000.000  (x 2,18)
3- Hindu 168.000.000 / 1.100.000.000 (x 6,54)
4- Buddha 167.000.000 / 488.000.000 (x 2,92)
5- Sikhism 4.480.000 / 23.000.000 (x 5,13)
6- Judaism 36.400.000 / 17.000.000 (x 0,46)

7- Flat earth 9.330.000

May 2017
1- jesus 880.000.000 / 2.200.000.000  (X 2,5 )
2- Ar.Mohammad 681.000.000 / 1.703.000.000  (x 2,5 )
3- Hindu 166.000.000 / 1.100.000.000 (x 6,62 )
4- Buddha 175.000.000 / 488.000.000 (x 2,78)
5- Sikhism 4.590.000 / 23.000.000 (x 5,01)
6- Judaism 40.500.000 / 17.000.000 (x 0,43)

7- Flat earth 13.300.000 / 30.633.000 (x2,30) (depends on number of believers in april 2017)

Calculating the number of believers depends on ratio of other religions by searching times:

1- 13.300.000 x 2,5 = 33.250.000
2- 13.300.000 x 2,5 = 33.250.000
3- 13.300.000 x 6,62= 88.046.000
4- 13.300.000 x 2,78= 36.974.000
5- 13.300.000 x 5,01= 66.633.000
6- 13.300.000 x 0,43= 5.719.000
7- 13.300.000 x 2,30 = 30.590.000

Number of believers in 06 May 2017 at least about 6 millions and at most about 88 millions.

Average value of number of believers is 41.780.000 people.

Average increasing rate is +%36 in two months. Average increasing rate per year: (1,36^6) = %632

With this tempo, when the number of believers arrives the everybody in the earth:

n: number of 2 months>>

41.780.000 * 1.36^n = 7.284.000.000.000

1,36^n = 174,34

n* ln 1,36 = ln 174,34

n*0,30=5,16 >> n= 17,2 number.

n was 2 months:

So>>

Time = 17,2 * 2 months = 34,4 months.

Time everybody will be a flat earth believer is 06.06.2017 + 12.34.0000= 18.04.2020

There is about 35 months left. Or; there is about 2,92 years left.

Hmmm - evidently the laws of statistics are different on the Flat Earth too!

You can't compare the amount of curiosity about FET (search queries) and the enthusiasm of believers in FET (number of articles/videos) to the number of "believers".

Many people (myself included) have ramped up curiosity - written blog posts - searched for FE websites - but are in no way "believers".

I don't see anything in those numbers that show "belief".

It happens like this.  Someone tells you that they or a friend believes the world is flat.  In my case, my best friend told me a buddy of his is a FE'er  After you quit laughing you google it and see this place.
Do you have a citation for this sweeping generalisation?

Curiosity, after a while it turns into belief.

Allow me to remind you that Intikam has nothing to do with serious FE beliefs and is only here to accuse everyone of schizophrenia.

Case in point. 3DGeek, I hope you're paying attention.

Ah, yes, the usual critique from your genius mind. "Boo-hoo, I don't like someone's name on an online forum." I take it you have nothing on-topic to say?
