Yeah. I heard about this a long time ago. Just about everyone agreed that having one electronic vehicle for all of your finances is all kinds of dumb.

As near as I can figure from the FAQs, you use a smartphone and magnetic stripe reader to copy the data from a card onto this device.  The device then writes the data to the magnetic stripe based on what card you choose from it's menu.

Also, lol America still doesn't have chip & pin.

I'm assuming that because it sends out a low power Bluetooth signal and has the little button and selector screen it uses power. Does this mean you have to charge it? Imagine being in a restaurant and saying "Sorry, I forgot to charge my credit card".

It can't be charged.  You are required to send it back and buy a new one.

Meh. We've struggled with the concept of electronic currency and payment for ages now. This is just another iteration.

We already have "contactless" payment cards in the UK.

But I suggest you, Usamerica, get chip and pin first before you go swanning off with some weird uber card with a casio digital watch built in.
