Why can't I see Polaris (north star) from the southern hemisphere?

Curvature of our GLOBE Earth makes the Polaris disappear over the horizon.

Is there any other way to explain it?

If the earth is flat then how come when you go south, crossing the equator that Polaris disappears over the horizon? This cannot be explained by a flat earth because from any point on the flat earth I should be able to see all the stars no matter where I'm standing.

Don't give me an answer without any evidence either, plus the star Polaris is a fixed star in the sky so it isn't moving. (From our perspective)

 ???

Not only does this happen with Polaris, it also happens with any other fixed star in the sky.

There was a thread here in 2016 about it.

Flat earthers usually explain this as a perspective effect.

How does this perspective effect work? The diagram just showed me literally the opposite of what I'm saying. This diagram shows that you can see Polaris anywhere no matter where you are.

Are you a FE'er or a globe Earther because if you believe the earth is flat your making everyone look bad with this diagram because it's a fact that you can't see Polaris in the southern hemisphere.
I'm not trying to be hostile I'm just extremely curious.

He's an RE'er. He's trying to use the continuous universe model of the Ancient Greeks to prove something they could have never possibly studied or measured.

They studied and measured the angle of Polaris a lot, for practical purposes (navigation).
