It’s hard to believe that adults believe their stuff. A non inertial frame of reference means the sun doesn’t come crashing down on us, but you drop a book and it crashes down to the floor. Yup, that sounds perfectly logical to me !  Nothing inconsistent at all !

What about that do you believe is inconsistent?

Mark is right. You are the same people who say a book falls because the air cant hold it up, but when someone asks about the sun you just say because magic.

Well this topic is more about seeing how Flat earthers would explain how earthquakes work. Round earthers already have an explanation, and seeing how our explanation is associated with the core of the earth, I was curious on how Flat earthers would explain.

So until a flat earther joins the topic and explains, we can only really guess.

They are the ones saying that the Earth isn't even round, so they should have an explanation for anything that "round earthers"  have

Definitely not true. The air below the book cannot exert enough force on the book to keep it in it's current position. It instead moves out of the way and around the book as "the earth accelerates towards it."
Same as with gravity.

The air is going the same speed. How come people don suffocate if the air is pushed up?

I debunked universal acceleration with this experiment:

• Lift a book into the air
• Let go
• It falls to the floor, unless you're in space, or underwater

If all you are going to do is troll in the upper fora, then don't bother posting. Seeing as you are already on three warnings, have a few days of to review the rules.

If you are going 1g then accelerate upwards, then why don't you keep going up? Is air resistance that strong?
