Given how long it takes to upgrade a 747 to Air Force One standards, I seriously doubt that it will ever be legitimately used as Air Force One.  They might just as well hand it over to the Trump library off the bat.

And I suppose that neither you nor Tom think that a $400 million dollar gift shouldn’t be subject to the terms of the Emoluments Clause.  You know, the clause that a president isn’t allowed to accept such valuable gifts from foreign governments without Congressional approval.

As POTUS, Trump gets a $400K salary so that he shouldn’t need to sell pencils.

Also, is it really okay for him to accept a luxury 747 from Qtar?

Selling Trump merch is one thing.  Using meme coins to sell direct access to the president is a whole new level of corruption.

And thus Tom is now fully in the  "The President should be able to be corrupt if he wants to" mindset.
Well, maybe if he could do it without wreaking havoc on the economy, taking a chainsaw to government services, alienating our allies or shredding the Constitution then it might not be such a big deal.

No politician should

Again, this is the issue. He's not a traditional politician, so he doesn't play by those rules. He is a television star and world famous comedic personality whose running theme is that he runs businesses and makes money, so he can get rich off of his crypto business and meme coins if he wants to.
Hmmm…  I seem to remember a whole lot controversy over some alleged corruption in the Biden family that never really panned out.  The conversation seems to be a much different with the brazen level of corruption that Trump fans seem to be applauding.

The buck stops literally anywhere else but here.
Incorrect.  The buck stops in his wallet.

It appears that one should be wary of which YouTube physicist's explanation you should believe.  It seems that space-time diagrams showing curvature have been mistaken for space-time curvature causing some confusion as to the actual cause of gravity.

Why should he need to run for a third term when all he has to do is sign an executive order declaring himself president for life.  Probably wouldn't be the most illegal thing he's done.

Why is it unreasonable for Ukraine to want to keep Crimea, along with the rest of the territories that Russia illegally invaded/occupied/annexed? ???

Ukraine is the weaker country and beggars can't be choosers.
Might makes right, does it?  Well, never underestimate the “weaker” country.  Ukraine has been doing a pretty good job of holding its own against Russia for three years longer than anyone, especially Putin, expected.

It appears that the problem has been identified. Zelensky appears to think that getting back Crimea is on the table. This is a clever negotiation point from Trump, since it shows that Zelensky is being unreasonable in the effort on his side to end this.

Waltz to leave his post.
Strange as he didn’t do anything wrong.

"US National Security Adviser Mike Waltz will leave his post and be nominated to serve as ambassador to the United Nations, President Donald Trump says"
I actually thought you were joking.
Genuinely impossible to tell reality from satire these days.
When in doubt, remember the old saying: truth is stranger than fiction, because fiction has to make sense.

Looks like another woke Biden program in the military bites the dust.

Thing is...
Quote
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth declared Tuesday that he had begun to shutter a Pentagon program meant to advance women’s participation in peace-building and conflict prevention, which was created by a law written by GOP lawmakers and signed by President Trump during his first term.

I like this bit from the link:

How would that even work?

If not, then cheaper foreign alternative it is.

Since you argue that more purity in US manufacturing is needed, I see that you agree with Trump in his stance that manufacturing needs to return to the USA.
Not really my point.  Just pointing out the mixed message that the MAGA leadership is sending by having patriotic merch made outside of the USA,

The way the video is presented shows that some items such as basic caps and shirts say Made in USA, but other items such as bomber jackets and mugs and golf hats say made in other countries. This is an accurate representation that some manufacturing exists, and represents a work in progress.
Which of those items cannot be currently made in the USA?  I could be wrong, but I'm guessing that every single one of those foreign made MAGA items could be made in the USA.  So why don't they?  Greed, of course.  More profit from cheaper foreign goods.

Trump says that there is a lack of manufacturing in the USA, and that this needs to change. I am happy that you looked at this video and agree with him.
As a consumer, I'm not entirely sure that I do agree.  Sure, I'd like to buy American whenever possible, but, like so many Americans, I'm also a cheapskate.  If American made products can compete on price, then great.  If not, then cheaper foreign alternative it is.

I wonder how much the tariffs will affect the price of MAGA merch.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/tg8PQzgV4ls?feature=share

The fact that this store even exists owns the libs. I'm not sure why you want to bring it up and remind us that Trump is populist king.
What kind of message is the MAGA leadership sending to their loyal sheeple when their patriotic merch is made in China?  Why doesn't Trump insist that ALL MAGA merch be made in the USA?  To Trump, patriotism is little more than a marketing scam.
