Suggestions & Concerns / Re: On the Notion of Removing Attachments
« on: April 10, 2019, 10:52:34 PM »
If nobody uses it much what then is its impact on the system?

Maybe I'm side tracking, but for instance pdf's and other docs could be shared more directly.

It doesn't impact my experience though, so do what you think is right.

: Infinite ¥ : Szion = : Plane

I would like to announce that my "philoscientific" model has been published to my Wordpress blog at the following link.

https://yllwchlk.blog/category/szion/

The article includes dialogue texts on further scientific observations and also an index of terminology for clarification of any non English words used.

If you would appreciate, I have spent much of my life debating on electronic discussion forums, often about topics I hold dear to my heart and this has been a very tiresome way of communicating or indeed occupying one's time.

I am also a luddite warrior at heart and so try to distance myself from technology.

As such it may not be within my power to answer many questions here, partly because I feel my model is mostly understandable at a first impression anyway, however if the wind directs me to tend an outcrop then I will endeavour to respond in more detail wholeheartedly.

Meanwhile I am posting this purely for the intention of providing it as accessible to an audience, to further the Flat Earth continuity, and of course to open the minds of both sides, however enlightening or even entertaining they may find it to be.

Tidings.

Grabbing up some TinTin lately. Finally acquired the whole series. Only two left to read.

Oh also, the poems of Zoroaster. I indeed like him.

I find Hollow Earth theory hilarious! Don't get me wrong, it's a great scifi concept, but on a realistic level it just sends me spinning into a black hole.

Besides, only a round Earth could be hollow.

You will appreciate different Flat Earthers have different opinions, but this is your essentially accurate starting point...

You may wish to review video footage of ISS crew steadying one another by wires, objects disappearing and reappearing repeatedly due to CGI glitches and certain crew members accidentally filmed in a VR studio when they are supposed to be on the ISS.

Is it just me or has this thread developed a dual personality?

It's always very striking to see these criss-cross patterns in the air, and I'd much rather have clearer skies myself - apart from when I need to fly somewhere, of course - but the 'squares' themselves have quite a logical explanation:

Planes fly in paths. Trails drift on breezes. By the time the next plane comes, it's actually flying parallel to the previous plane's trail. And so on

I appreciate that Max, really I do, but what I've been witnessing is one plane flying in a square.

The only other explanation is that it's all a mirage... I'd like to see people prove it's the effect of a mirage before making up any other excuse..

Things like this, perhaps?

Yes Jim Henson was and still is a great man.

The Antikythera Mechanism is a perfect example of how much remains unknown about the history of our world, its vast continents and its untold legends.

I don't subscribe to the air poisoning conspiracy. I would think that ridiculous in my honest opinion. Indirectly perhaps, as a result of air or cloud modification.

I have however witnessed planes creating trails in a perfect square formation over several miles. These trails spread out after lingering to form a canopy.

I would hazard a guess it is to cover a part of the sky in order to hamper astronomical observations, since they always do it shortly before sunset.

I don't see why discovering the Earth to be flat should give you super human powers. It's been flat since the day I first crawled on it but I've not leapt any buildings lately.

Well maybe one.

Or 50mm, depending on your stance.  ;D

By recognising that #1 is incorrect reasoning. Gravity doesn’t mean that a plane will somehow crush itself into a ball. I mean, you own plates, right?

Yes, that's incorrect reasoning....

Debatable beast, particularly since it maintains a ring.

Furthermore, gravity does not necessarily work uniformly.

I need a little more understanding with what you mean by the "chosen elite of antiquity." I mean. I seriously had a good chuckle at that one.

Do you also have a good chuckle at the indoctrination of children to believe they are hurtling through a volatile vacuum, with nowhere to escape to or any magical places left to adventure?

I see your point.

All knowledge is passed down in the form of a pyramid, the scholars of the masters at the very bottom.

It is not so much a global conspiracy, but a global misunderstanding created by deceivers at the top.

We acknowledge the established scientific institutions, yet we also acknowledge that every person on the Earth is merely following a trail left by the chosen elite of antiquity.

There are many "evidences" a Round Earther can present, but individually these do not conclude what only one person can conclude.

That one person is an astronaut.

I have believed the world to be flat since the day I was born. I sleep on my flat floor in a sleeping bag and do not look to the skies with astronomical fear, incited into me by indoctrinated science.

I am a Flat Earther.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why is there a dome/firmament outside earth?
« on: March 23, 2019, 06:08:39 PM »
Whilst I appreciate your concern, it should be noted that the "dome" is only an element of the classical FE model, and until a universally accepted model is presented, is not to be taken as fact.

There are many Flat Earthers with many varying models, all collaborating and sharing together on wonderful new concepts or ideas as to how the world could still function on an alternative "plane", given common established scientific observations.

There are models without domes, indeed my own to be published eventually, so I wouldn't get too hung up over it.

We mostly appreciate the classical model only for its nostalgia and foundational merit that brought forth our good society.

You're right about Mars, complete waist of time and money. Furthermore, procreation in at least the first few hundred years amounts to nothing less than astronomical child abuse. I don't need to explain why.

And I thought I was bathing in starlight, aww shucks.  ;D

Nay, it popped in my mind from an idea I once had for a scifi novel, about a civilisation who discovered the features of their natural moon were actually a mirror of their neighbouring galaxy, and that it was in fact... a wormhole.  :o

Cheers.
