After all, men can get pregnant too these days.

I'd completely forgotten about this. Yeah, I guess it's not a women only issue anymore.

How many people would choose to be retroactively aborted? Probably about as many as the suicide rate, which is about 1 in 10,000 in the US. If there was a way to give the baby a choice, most would choose to be born. Still, I’m not entirely pro-life from a legal standpoint. I think it’s wrong, but probably shouldn’t be illegal. Maybe just let women decide on it.

I wonder if all the rich lefties are going to return their Teslas now. Freedom of speech is literally Hitler.

Putin doesn’t even have good sources for his own military operation.

You care about Canadian truckers, but for some reason you don't care about an actual dictator taking rights away from a democratic country by using missiles and tanks.

So, a lot of this is perfectly true and valid, but I don't suppose you happen to have a time machine to do anything about it?

I just think your money would be better spent in your own country rather than sending it to a lost cause. We’re probably in for another Cold War, this time possibly against China as well. We should probably try to be in the best economic situation possible.

$0, I'm probably not gonna win this game with that attitude. Also, progress log.
ftfy

The Russians will just seize the money when they eventually take over the capitol.

I’ve also been a huge proponent of having strong deterrence against Russia in Europe for the longest time for situations exactly like this. Europe has been in lala land, cutting their military budgets and relying on the US and the UK for their defense needs so they can move that funding to comfy social programs. Donating a few bucks when the enemy is already breaking down your door just seems kind of silly to me, that’s all.

Pretty sure my country has already donated a shitload of tax money to them so I’m good.

Has the epic adventure come to an end?

Nah, I just did some deliveries today. I delivered some hairbands to an apartment complex in the hood. That's all they ordered, hairbands.

OK, just passed Security +.  It was no fucking fun at all. Holy crap, it sucked.

Can confirm. Even if you know the material, CompTIA test question wordings are notoriously horrible. Although, it's a required cert if you want to get a gubmint security job in the US.

Can't argue with science. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

You do that constantly.

It's been slow the last couple of days.
Because I thought you were going to be one of the first Doordash millionaires. I'm sad for you.  :'(

I've never had the expectation that I'd be a millionaire doing any job, let alone DoorDash. If you thought that were possible, maybe you're just slow?

It's been slow the last couple of days. I did see one of those fire department command trucks slam into someone at an intersection though. He just ran the red light without any sirens or lights on. Luckily, the car he hit didn't seem too badly damaged and the driver was able to get out. Also, people in the hood don't tip that well. I delivered a giant Walmart order to some lady in a hood apartment complex and she tipped $2. To top it off, the complex had a gate and she didn't even provide a gate code in the delivery instructions. I called her and couldn't hear a word she was saying. It sounded like there were 10 people in the same room all talking as loudly as they could. I had to get out of the car and ask the person in the car behind me to open it. No more Walmart orders for me.

I also got two free sodas.

How did you get two free sodas?

The dude at the counter gave me a stack of cups without counting them.

Currently on a delivery right now. It’s pretty slow today, which is odd considering all the handegg games going on. I noticed a lot of other food delivery people I encounter race to do orders as fast as they can. But the algorithm for DoorDash gives you plenty of time to just cruise. I just leisurely drive around, which is actually p chill ngl.

I picked a place to stay in San Jose. It’s a really nice area, but rent will be $2300 a month while I’m there. What in the fuck? That’s more than a mortgage payment in most places.
