I have no involvement in the TROPPO LoRa project, so you would be better off asking the authors of the paper that I cited.  I'm sure that they would be more than happy to answer any reasonable questions that you have about tropospheric LoRa propagation.

That has nothing to do with the 830 mile line-of-sight test, LIAR.
Maybe not that particular test, but they do have experience with a number of other long distance line-of-sight tests.  I would think that the principles would be pretty much the same.

mounds of damning evidence now piling up by the day, including the release on Wednesday by the House Ways and Means Committee of reams of text messages and emails between Hunter Biden, his uncle James Biden, and a colorful array of foreign oligarchs, business associates, and bagmen.

hey which one of those is joe biden

I know the evidence against Joe is coming any day now, and I'm sure whatever it might be it will be damning.
I'm sure that the My Pillow guy is working on it and will deliver a massive data dump that will put the whole Biden family, all of Burisma and most of the Ukrainian government behind bars forever.

all of the news outlets are acknowledging that an impeachment inquiry has begun

What? You mean this guy on Twitter is lying? Surely not!
Nah.  He's just using a different definition of "blacked out" than most of the rest of the English speaking world.

It sounds like they were lucky enough to catch an exceptionally long  tropospheric duct.

ABSTRACT
With the growth of LoRa deployments there are plenty of anecdotal reports of very long wireless links, well beyond the line of sight.  Most reports suggest that these links are related to anomalous tropospheric propagation. We developed a platform to study tropospheric links based on TheThingsNetwork, a popular LoRaWAN-based infrastructure.

Absolute nonsense.

Do you realize what line-of-sight at sea level means? It means it has nothing to do with the troposphere which is claimed to be at an average height of 8.1 MILES above sea level.
Would you please post the specifications of the antennas used?  Line-of-sight does not necessarily mean highly directional.

Not nonsense to you? Post the math that make it work in this case. But remember that nothing is pointing up to the troposphere, that only happens in your imagination.

The Tweet is claiming that the big television networks are not covering it.
That depends on what level of coverage you're looking for.  If you want wall to wall coverage, then you're out of luck, but all of the news outlets are acknowledging that an impeachment inquiry has begun.  But, then again, what do you expect when even a number of Republicans are saying that there doesn't appear to be much of any evidence of wrongdoing?

I would also suggest that there is a difference between a "coverage blackout" and "just not bothering to cover it".

This joke of a partisan judgment claiming that there were inflated property values will be appealed and isn't going anywhere. For example, the judge in this case valued Mar-a-Lago at $18 Million.
What a property is worth and what it would list for are not always the same.  If someone wants to pay $300 million for a property that Trump paid $10 million for, then that that's up to them.

You do realize that this is essentially the same thing as saying that "GPS proves the curvature" like ichoosenonsense claimed, right? It's all done on paper from a mathematical model of the ball Earth. In reality no one has measured the curvature. Ever.
Do you realize that a mathematical model of the ball earth can make predictions can can be verified in reality but won't work on a flat earth?

This is an unfortunate comment because it shows that you haven't looked at the material that your globe-defending friend provided.

It explains that you can project the imaginary ball's curvature onto a flat plane no problem by using the so-called "Snake Projection" method, and it is mathematically valid.
Please explain why projecting the image of a round earth onto a flat surface should invalidate any predictions that a round earth model would make.

It may not be possible to measure the curvature to your satisfaction, but it is possible to verify the consequences of that curvature.

You mean that you are personally satisfied that it exists, which is different.
No, I meant what I said.  Personal satisfaction has nothing to do with it.

It looks bad but the box checked is "non-final disposition" so dunno what that means overall.

Mr. Kise also asked whether the ruling meant that Mr. Trump would have to sell assets including Trump Tower and 40 Wall Street, a downtown commercial property, or whether they could be managed by an independent receiver who the judge said would oversee the dissolution of the canceled companies.

Justice Engoron did not provide a clear response. After huddling with his law clerk, Allison Greenfield, he told Mr. Kise that he appreciated his concern and understood the question.

“I’m not prepared to issue a ruling right now, but we will take that up in various contexts I’m sure,” he said. He granted Mr. Kise’s request for 30 days to devise a plan for implementing the order.
I think that it means that they're not quite sure what it means overall either, but they'll figure something out eventually.

Reconciliation generally implies that there was some sort of relationship to begin with.  To the best of my knowledge, there has never been any sort of relationship between Eric Dubay and either of the TFES sites, other than Eric accusing TFES (and just about anyone else claiming to be an FE'er) of being controlled opposition, or something to that effect.

I remember signing up for one of his sites some years back and being permabanned within a day or so before I even made a post.

I couldn't find the rules with a quick google but I think he needs a certain percentage in the polls to be on the primary ballot.
So if he isn't a household name, few who votes in the primary is gonna vote for him.
The rules vary by state, but usually involve filing petitions with a number of signatures with the state election board.

One pretty obvious thing that I forgot to mention.  If the Gemini capsule and Agena target are both going 18,000 mph (5 miles per second) and the Gemini suddenly slows to zero mph, then why didn't the Agena target shoot past at 18,000 mph?

By the way, the horizon really isn't a physical thing.
Damn, RE light now exists outside of the realm of physics.
I'm not sure where you got that from, but I'm pretty sure that I didn't say resembling that.

And you say we're the ones with strange ideas about light.
Do you have anything to add to the discussion or should I report you for low content posting?

How would you suggest that the curvature along several miles of the earth be physically measured?

Well, I would say it's up to you (the globe cult) to figure out the details since you're the ones claiming that the curvature exists and the ones who have pretty much all the resources & money.
Apparently none of the modern methods for measuring curvature are acceptable to you, so we seem to be at an impasse.

Or alternatively - oh well, you can keep not producing proof of curvature for all eternity for all I care.
If objects moving past and sinking below the horizon, satellite imagery or any of the other evidence posted isn't enough proof of curvature for you, then I don't know what is.

A physical measurement of the ball would be swell. No need to measure the whole ball, a few miles would be enough.
Then I suggest you talk with a surveyor because they measure bits and pieces of the earth all the time and a few miles is far enough for them to need to account for the earth's curvature.

Do you not understand that a physical (tangible) measurement is not the same thing as an optical measurement?
How would you suggest that the curvature along several miles of the earth be physically measured?

That's easy.  It's because, as so many FE'ers have shown time and time again, there is no evidence of curvature that you will accept.

I'm not asking for evidence, I'm asking for proof. Not the same thing.
Okay then, what proof would you accept?

By the way, the horizon really isn't a physical thing.

Ok? I know that, but if the Earth is a ball then it must be physical, no?
No.

What do you think the horizon is, then?
I already told you.  The horizon is where the sky and earth appear to meet.  What do you think the horizon is?
