Eclipses
« on: January 04, 2018, 01:49:51 PM »
As I was scrolling down the FAQ of the FET, I noticed the diagram of the sun and moon. If they rotate in the way you said, how do eclipses happen. Thanks.

In brief: Solar occur in the same way as they do in RE (i.e. the moon between sun and Earth) while lunar occur when a 'shadow object' moves between the sun and the moon and blocks the light.

Ah yes. The shadow object.
Big enough to block out the moon. Small enough to have never been observed by anyone ever

I guess the shadow object is translucent and possibly changes colour somehow as it goes across the moon
