Infiltrating the Conspiracy
« on: March 10, 2016, 10:27:44 PM »
A bit of a sensationalist headline, I admit. But, I received my notice that in a few short months I will be heading to NASA's Ames Research Center for approximately a week. I don't want to go into too many details regarding what the trip is all about, but I will be sure to post any relevant bits of information pertaining to earth's shape here.

It is your big chance. Wear 'the belt' and free the world of the forked tongue space agency.

Failing that, give their new quantum computers a virus just for shits and giggles.

I do hope you bring home pictures of the acres and acres of painters making all those fake images to form the basis of these (almost) real-time weather images we get.
I sure you will find someone to explain how all those quantum computers can then the apparently correct cloud patterns to those thousands of images.
You know stuff like this that anyone can download on request (the eclipse only comes if you are lucky)!

Speaking of images of the earth from the DISCOVR satellite, perhaps junkr should ask about the first full image of the earth published from DISCOVR which showed the word SEX spelled out in the clouds.

I presume you are joking!
They do say that: "There's none so blind as those who will not see."
Open you eyes!

The do say Flat Earthers follow the Zetetic Cosmology! I can see that you must be an Earth Shape Agnostic. To even follow Zetetic Cosmology you have to observe!

If you can't see the difference in the clouds in these two pictures, I completely give up of trying to explain anything to you!

I would like to say I was sorry for being so harsh, but if you are too lazy to look things up and look properly at what is around you will never learn anything. The truth might be on there somewhere, but you will never find it!

I have read "seek and you will find" (actually Matthew 7:7 in the New International Version Bible). The corollary is true to don't really look and you will be forever blind!

Bye, Bye!

Ignoring your ridiculous formatting methods for a moment, the pictures you posted are at different angles and literally show that the clouds haven't moved. I get that you try to use presentation to obfuscate the actual points you may try to make, but that won't work here. Please try again.

The clouds clearly move. If you deny that then you undermine your own credibility as an honest contributor.

The cloud movement is difficult to see in the left image, but in the image on the right it is very clear.

It is the sheer inconsistency with these images that really bothers me.

This we are told is earth at night from space.

Don't they have electricity in Australia? And where did the atmosphere go? Is Aurora Borealis just a thing that happens when they want it to?

You'd have to be some kind of idiot to think these are all genuine and all on the same thing ... earth.

One word that anyone with any knowledge of photography might realise - EXPOSURE!
The weather satellites do not have the exposure set for taking night-time pictures!

And, the "Aurora Borealis just a thing that happens when" it wants to! You have to get the timing right, but of course being on the ISS gives a good viewing point.

Standard flat earth response "I don't understand it, so it must be a fake".

Just possibility a bit of thinking, knowledge or reasearch would help. But, when you wear blinkers, I guess nothing will help.

The clouds (in left left image) clearly do not move. If you deny that then you undermine your own credibility as an honest contributor with under 20 posts.

If you cannot see that the cloud formations above Australia have moved, you are clearly in denial.

Sorry, friend, they don't move an inch in the image. Realistically, they should've moved a significant amount. But, no, round earthers don't even try anymore.

The funny thing is about those two images is that if you look at the cloud formations carefully when the moon's shadow is near Australia you can see that the two images are actually depicting the same eclipse.

Why is it that the clouds are moving in one animation and not moving in the other, if it is of the same event?

I think maybe just looking at it frame by frame my answer the question if clouds are moving in both pictures.

Yes, the clouds are moving. The FE believers just won't accept it.
Look at the cloud formations above Australia  and you'll see that they clearly change.

Change, and move are two different things, uncertain one.

Do they clearly move? Do they clearly move as far as they should?

Change, and move are two different things, uncertain one.

In this context 'cloud formations changing' and 'clouds moving' are pretty much the same thing.

Do they clearly move? Do they clearly move as far as they should?

Well, how far should they move? The period for the left hand gif is about 3-4 hours. It's a long distance view. I wouldn't expect to see significant movement. About as much as can be seen, in fact.

Yes, they clearly do!
