The further the straight lines originate from you, the more parallel they should appear to each other.

I wonder the middle and high school grades made by this man.

I can only answer with:
"The taller the tree that falls on a forest on the other side of the world, louder is the silence you hear here".

Stick to the arguments and lay off the insults. Warned. FYI, you are on 3 warnings now.

I am aware but there are other ways.  Tariff the hell out of the tech or just support other 5G tech makers.

Also: free market and all that.

I don't think that is particularly viable when Huawei is run by a CCP hardliner. It is obviously more nuanced than that, but there are implications well beyond free trade.

Also, if he was doing this to make me buy American, why only one Chinese company that isn't even in the American market?  Why not Samsung or Nokia?

It isn't only about phones. The goal is to prevent a Chinese company from being the dominant provider of next-gen "5G" network infrastructure (which Huawei is trying to do), among other things.

Watched John Wick 2 and 3 yesterday. Saw the first one back when it was in theaters.

They're all p much the same movie. Wholly gratuitous violence, thin plot, minimal cohesion, limited character development (unless you're all about angst and brooding, and dogs), and a shit ton of action. 10/10 would see again.

One wonders just how many batman movies the world really needs.
Always one more than currently exists at the present day.

It should be Keanu.

Okay fine Jason Statham. I'd settle on RDJ.

Then Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? and you will leave no cyberpunk trope unturned.

Indeed. You will wonder why you ever wasted your time watching Blade Runner after that... But it is easy to fall down the PKD rabbit hole, which I did. There are only a couple of his novels I haven't read yet.

Actually, Franklin, put A Scanner Darkly on your list. Then, when you are done reading it, get lit af and watch the animated movie. You'll thank me.

Also, get yourself a SegaCD emulator and acquire Snatcher. Then your Cyperpunk life will be mostly complete.

Just finished reading Snow Crash, at the recommendation of Junker.

Really great book. Mixes a lot of eclectic topics into a nice read.

Well done, Franklin. It is time for Neuromancer.

Actually, now that I have mused on the matter, I think the official end to talks happened with this awful meme from our side:

I would think laypeople don't understand physics very well regardless of their opinion on the shape of the earth. It is kind of implied in the label.

I'm guessing, even though Davis apologized on the next page, this maybe put the kibosh on the reunification effort, among other things:

Eh that is just JD. He gets all hot and bothered and fired up, then apologizes eventually.

Not to mention the original title was "Universal Acceleration DEBUNKED", you changed it too "Universal Acceleration - How does the ISS stay up?" when in fact my evidence can be used to make multiple points, which im making right now.
Indeed, if you want to make threads about how right you are, rather than start discussions, do so in the Angry Ranting board.

If you'd like to propose an alternative thread title, feel free to PM me.

As for your 100 attempts at digressing from the subject: I'm sure they're riveting, but I'm not going to have multiple concurrent conversations in one thread.
I am right. You are wrong.

Refrain from low-content posting in the upper fora. Last warning before a short ban to review the rules.

I'm talking about these guys

What was going on there?

December 2013.

Several reasons. You can find lengthy discussions about the topic on the forum. Attempts at reunification eventually failed. One early attempt can be found here:

I don't think you will find anyone here who reached that conclusion after seeing the guy go on his rocket trip.

I think what would be much more convincing of FE ideas is if FES could actually build a model for their FE claim.

Presently, FEers cannot survive a single day on earth, and until the terminus can be described on a flat earth — it doesn’t matter how much anyone thinks REers are wrong.

Proving RE wrong and FE correct are two separate pursuits. Progress in one does nothing for the other.

There is no FE model. At all.

Please refrain from off-topic posting and thread derailment in the upper fora. Flat Earth Media is not the forum for you to continue demanding someone make an FE model you like. If you want to reply to this thread, then discuss the video Tom posted.

EDIT - Actually I see you are on two warnings within the last month from Pete. So, I think it is time for a break. Have a week off to review the rules. Keep in mind this is your 4th ban and most people would have been permabanned by now. I think we will give it one more go, but going straight to permanent next time around.

I'm kind of curious however where you dug that bit up, I don't recall seeing it in there before and I thought I had perused most of the wiki at one time or another.

It is on the UA page in the wiki under the heading "Alternatives to Universal Acceleration"

It's not edgy. "Life is suffering" is a core tenet of Buddhism and a common topic in philosophy. Considering there are 488 million Buddhists (according to the Google Overlord), it's not uncommon to be brought up believing that life is a state of suffering, and only by being freed from an existing circle of life, death, and rebirth can one be freed from the suffering of life.

So "Buddhists believe it so it can't be edgy"? FYI I'm using "edgy" in the "brooding angsty Sasuke" sense. Which apparently applies to Buddhism.

Also doesn't change that having it be a vague two-parter is dumb since I can agree with one half and disagree with the other, in either order.

Don't feed the Rushy...
