I don't understand why this is even a question. They aren't hiding money or God. They're hiding more land. If our plane of existence is indeed flat, there's obviously more land out there. And well, more people or whatever is out there. The question then becomes, what does it look like exactly? I honestly don't believe it's just us and we're in an enclosed dome. I personally believe that we are just one of many Earth like systems that are surrounded by an Ice Wall. If people knew there was more land out there and more people, they'd want to find out the truth. They'd want to leave. The government doesn't want that. They want you thinking you're it. All the continents have been established and discovered. There is nothing more. You're stuck here. Randomly floating in space. End of story. But what if that wasn't the case? What if there were more continents out there that they were hiding? That they either kept from us or that were beyond the Ice Wall? People would start questioning their existence and want to find out the truth. At least, that's my take on it.

This one is easy. The sun's area of light overlaps the North Pole when the Sun is at the Tropic of Cancer. This is why higher latitudes increase in daylight duration until, when far enough North, the sun ceases to set at all and the Midnight Sun occurs.

Not to be a pest but can you show me what you mean? Image or video?

As you can see on the US's east cost, Maine and Massachusetts get hit with light first. Then, about an hour later, Florida gets light.

On June 21st, at ~1:50 UTC, Florida then experiences sunset. Around 2:30 UTC, MA and ME then get sunset.

When I get the chance I'll make a 3D model.

What is UTC?

I look forward to your model or a link showing me how this works. I'm really interested how the sun and moon work.

I decided to look into how much daylight certain places have and I'm a little confused about something. Maybe someone can explain this.

I made a chart of the Sunlight hours for the USA on June 20th, 2018 when the sun would be at the Tropic of Cancer.

I was confused as to why the hours of sunlight decrease the closer it gets to Florida. Florida is the closest to the Tropic of Cancer, right? During June-July-August reaching its peak June 20th. Is this because the sun is pretty much directly overhead so it leaves our eyesight and horizon quicker than those who live in Mass? A little confused by that. Curiously I decided to see how the hours work if we go directly to the left of Maine.

The hours of sunlight stays the same. Off by a minute or few depending on the city I chose. But they all stay within the 15:33 mark.

If the Gleason's map and maps like it are ... close to "accurate" as can be, it doesn't make sense. Why Alaska gets a 24 hour sun when it appears the sun is farthest from Alaska when it's circling above. Wouldn't Florida be getting the 24 hour sun since it's almost on top of the Tropic of Cancer? Otherwise, the map really is wrong and nothing is where it's suppose to be.

The higher you go (above Oregon), the hours of sunlight increase. (Bellingham) WASHINGTON 16.10. Fairbanks Alaska (lower end) gets 21.48 but Barrow Alaska (upper end) gets 24 hours.

I hope this makes sense.

Flat Earth Community / Geocentric is the Wrong Terminology

I apologize if this is the wrong forum to discuss this but I honestly couldn't figure out which board it belonged with so I chose general.

When the idea of " Flat Earth " is said to those who believe in the Globe, it is usually depicted as a large sun shining over an entire disk shaped object. And I would think it's because it's basing the idea of the Geocentric name which is the incorrect model in the first place. The Earth may be at the center but it's globe terminology with the planets revolving around Earth etc.

Is there another term for what we're trying to visually depict here? It's Zetetic Astronomy, correct?

Why not the Zetetic model? Zeocentric model. Zeocentricim.

It needs its own name to depict the model correctly. With the Earth at the center and everything else above and below us. Not outward- or parallel to us as usually depicted using the Geocentric (and Heliocentric) models.

Thoughts?

Thanks for the responses.

The idea of methods of passage between this dome and others along an ice plane interests me greatly. By going further along in that vein, it becomes obvious that aliens, if they exist, would not come from above, but from the side (or the south pole, if you still believe in a round earth).

This opens a good number of questions. If aliens could enter from the side, then a very good way to disguise that fact would be to hide the existence of that side entirely. Conspiracy nuts the world over are looking for how NASA is covering up having made extraterrestrial contact and are pointing their telescopes upwards - that would make it a lot easier to hide something along the ice wall!!

The side of us or as some have pointed out, below us. Perhaps both? It's very interesting. I don't know if I can support the idea that we're the center of it all. That would be a huge coincidence. But Domed systems within an Ice plane and we just happen to be one of them... sounds kind of plausible. But it doesn't answer why we're here or who/what put us here.

Relatively new to the FET. And I'm enjoying every second of reading about it. It's fascinating and makes a whole lot more sense than what has been spoon fed to us. Hopefully I don't step on anyone toes with my post. And if this specific topic has been discussed, please direct me to the answer.

I'm not into religion but I do believe the Bible (it is a man made book after all) has a more accurate description of Earth and how it looks/works based off the simple minded straightforwardness of the writers at that place in time when the book was being written. Their depiction of the "Firmament" (which is just another word for "shield") and such things that can't be explained they gave a "Godly" answer to because that is what they believed at that time. I think both sides hold some truth to them but the Bible is more accurate when it comes to what our world maybe look like.

Now we have to figure out how big our world is. If the North Star really is the center of OUR Earth system, does everything expand out beyond the horizon? Beyond us? Beyond Antartica? I doubt our system just happens to be the center of EVERYTHING so I doubt we're the only domed system. How far does it go? Is Antarctica the end of our domed Earth system and there are more beyond? One large flat ice universe with circular domed plane-t systems of all different sizes like Earth that exist within? Perhaps the "shield" has a pocket or pockets that let us through to the large ice universe so we are able to get to these other systems? Does anyone have any theories?

Everyone seems to figure out what our Flat Earth looks like but what about our flat UNIVERSE?
