Flat Earth Theory / Re: The pull of gravity would be irregular
« on: October 04, 2017, 12:19:01 AM »
This is a difficult claim to prove or disprove on this forum.  My understanding of gravitational variance in both RE and FE is that it is so small that it takes incredibly sensitive instruments to detect and measure.  I doubt anyone on this forum has access to those instruments.
These "incredibly sensitive instruments are called scales, and they are not that difficult to obtain:

I confess I'm a bit puzzled as to why FE'ers do this.

If the Earth is an infinite disk, of decent thickness - then regular "per Isaac Newton" gravity is a reasonable explanation.
No, it is not. Do you know Isaac Newton gravity depends on the mass of the objects?
Infinite disk would have to have infinite mass, and infinite gravity. Sounds stupid? It does.

You CAN, however demonstrate that it would take an infinite amount of energy to make it work - and that it doesn't explain variable gravity or the tides.
Nor it does not explain "Cavendish experiment".

Does it mean that Universal Acceleration does not fit the observation? And, what is more troubling, goes against logic requiring infinite energy to constantly accelerate massive objects?

I'm not sure if this has been discussed before, but in FET, what is the mechanism or driving force behind the motion of the Sun, Moon, stars, and planets in the sky? I am curious as to the "why" and "how" behind this motion.

I assume UA also acts on these celestial bodies in order for them to remain at the same distance from the surface of the Earth, but what makes them revolve around whatever vertical axis they revolve around?
I've seen two ideas on this.
Can any of these ideas be TESTED if true?

mtnman, maybe people like template questions and template answers?
What does "template question" mean?
