again: there is not the slightest proof/hard evidence that these GPS sttlts are up there....

The abscence of proof is not proof of anything, altough there probably is proof but lets assume for the sake of this
thought experiment that there is not.

Imagine you have 3 GPS recievers in 3 different Cities.
Depending on the position of the satelite its signal will take longer/shorter to arrive at each reciever.
if you measure how long it takes for each reciever to recieve the signal you can calculate the position of the satelite.
( assuming the recievers have synchronized clocks etc..)
If you want to prove that thoose Satelites are faking their position in the GPS System, this is how you do it.

You say thoose satelites are fake.
the world says they are not.
the burden of proof is on you.
do it.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: The Sun Is A Spotlight

RE science: This acts as both a particle and a wave, how strange and impossible.
Reaction: ZOMG HAVE A NOBEL PRIZE!!

FE science: The sun appears to act as a spotlight and not at the same time.
Reaction: LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL, N00B.  GO LIVE IN A CAVE.

The first one can be experimentally tested and proven by every scientist with the necessery equipment.

The second one is just flat earthers beeing flat earthers, no offense.

Get experimental evidence for this and you they will give you not only the nobel prize but the entire fucking nobel foundation.

why aren't scientists speaking out abt the FE?

because flat earthers did not yet produce anything scientific.

Which space missions do you consider to be legitimate?

none of them!

its lies, ALL lies!    >:(

(as you'd expect from a media/government/academia totally controlled by jews and their crypto-jew fellow travellers...the Freemasons)

☞ actually....its doubtful that any-thing can exceed 60mls/100klmtrs altitude because of the 2000ºC+  thermo-sphere ☜

Where do you get that number from? 2000ºC?
I am not sure what you mean with this thermo-sphere reference, could you please elaborate?

Also if all the space missions are fake how do you explain that you can see the ISS with an amateur telescope?

The same equations to describe gravity applies to planets and apples and everything else on earth.
The same equations to describe angular momentum applies to satelites and planets and your bicycle.

It is not like someone just made this shit up to invent a globe-earth-universe.

And the forces of this whirlpool also perfectly match the calculations of why the iSS stays in space on the globe model?

Apparently.

so classic globe earth theory has equations ( like actual, reusable, mathematical euquations ) that perfectly match everything we observe on earth and beyond,
and FE theory has this whirlpool idea backed by nothing.

Then what does this tell you?

what is this a map of?

This is a map of the globe earth.

In azimuthal projection.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Map_projection

because you cant draw 3D on 2D.

But if you send one balloon up in the east, and you see the sun when looking WEST... At the same time, if the west balloon has to look toward the EAST to see the sun... this proves that the sun is physically in-between the two balloons—the compass will visually show what direction the sun is in from each balloon.

This would be IMPOSSIBLE if the sun if 93 million miles away, because at that distance the sun must be straight up no matter which direction you look.

This would be EXPECTED on a globe earth because the balloons are not parallel, what direction exactly is straight up on a globe?
Depending on the Distance between the 2 baloons they might very well look into different directions if the sun is 93 million miles away.

Flat Earth Theory / Gravity once again

I have been thinking about the FE's version of gravity - acceleration.

In flat earth theory the earth is a plane in a dome and constantly accelerating upwards, which causes "gravity" as we know it.

However how does this theory explain sattelites and the sun and the moon just floating above our head?
If the plane is accelerating upwards shouldnt we crash into those objects? shouldn't they appear to be falling from our viewpoint?

what keeps (for example) the ISS in oribt in globe theory is angular momentum, but this is not an option in FET, since it would be moving in a circle parralel to earth.

Also the existence of the ISS is not up for debate, anyone can view it with a telescope:
http://www.popastro.com/help/help.php?title_pag=Viewing+the+ISS+%28and+other+satellites%29

so if the earth is flat, what keeps the ISS in space?

I dont get why people are so obsessed with the Bedford experiment.

Quote from Wikiepedia(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bedford_Level_experiment):
"If the measurement is close enough to the surface, light rays can curve downward at a rate equal to the mean curvature of the Earth's surface. In this case, the two effects of curvature and refraction cancel each other out and the Earth will appear flat in optical experiments."

This is also why the Laser experiments that have been done really provide no results at all.
If it works, FE will argue that this is proof of a flat earth by ignoring the effect of atmospeheric refraction.
If your expermients results indicate that the earth is flat you would also have to disprove atmospheric
refraction in order to _actually_ proof that the earth is flat and you did not misinterpret the results.

I have never seen a FE'er take this into consideration, you just take the results that suit you
and ignore the rest. This is just nitpicking.

not an anweser to the actual question, sorry, but if plan on doing this expermient just know
how to interpret the results.

GPS operates by ground based towers.

If the gps reciever can calculate its position with the signal of multiple transmitters,
this also means that multiple recievers can triangulate the position of one transmitter.

If this is true and GPS is operated by ground based towers, anyone could prove this,
yet no one ever did.

Someone would have to take a powerful laser measurement from one end to the other on a clear day, and prove that the water is flat. I noticed that there are absolutely no perfect side view photographs of the bridge on Google images that we can put a straight line to.

first: didnt someone already do this laser experiment  recently?
second: atmospheric refraction.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Coriolis Effect
« on: July 30, 2015, 02:56:02 AM »
I suspect the experiment has always been done with twisted rope, never with solid wire, never with a balanced pendulum.

So when this experiment has always been done with twisted rope how come the change of direction  (the "twistyness" of the rope) matches the math behind
the coriollis effect within measurment error?

Also i cannot see how an "unbalanced" pendulum would change direction as you swing it, or what an unbalanced pendulum even is. you can take any object,
attach a rope to it, and if you let it hang freely the mass centre will always be in one line with the rope.

Can you provide the source of this picture?

There is no reason to believe that the photoshopping was not done by you.

The Reverse Image Search engine tineye.com aslo provides no results for either the image provided by you or
for the horizontally flipped version of that image.

Flat Earth Theory / Coriolis Effect
« on: June 29, 2015, 03:22:30 AM »
Hello this is my first post here,
I have been reading a lot about the FET but there are still a few questions unanswered.

One of them has to do with the coriolius effect, i have searched in the forum and in the wiki,
but all i found had to do with wind and water currents.

But the coriolius effect can be proven rather simple using a pendulum like this:

So how does the flat earth theory explain the rotation of the earth?
