Looking at the model of how the sun rotates above the earth it seems like midnight sun would be impossible in Antartica. Am I correct?

The wiki states "A fact of basic perspective is that the line of the horizon is always at eye level with the observer." What does this mean? Does it mean that the horizon is always horisontal with the eye?

Not to mention that Antartica has long periods where ALL of it has 24 hour sunlight...
