So yes, I believe the earth is round and all that and no none of you can change my minds but I really want to know why you all think the earth is flat, because I find it crazy to think people think that way can someone here who thinks that give me an explanation to why you all think the earth is flat?
I am under the impression the Earth is flat because wherever I have traveled and have taken the time to look around, the Earth was flat.
I have taken steps in Mexico, Canada, and nearly every state of the Lower 48, spent time sailing in the Atlantic, Pacific, Gulf of Mexico, and Chesapeake Bay. spent time on power and rowboats in the Great Lakes of Michigan and Erie, the Mississippi River and the Potomac and Patuxent Rivers.
All of that time? The Earth looked flat.
Well, you have to understand that the earth is so big that it could appear flat in any direction because we are on the ground but simply thing disprove this, for example if the earth is flat I could go to the east coast and grab a telescope or something powerful enough and point it towards the ocean and on a flat earth I would see Europe, but if we do that we see nothing but water, and the reason that is, because the earth has a curve, so that's one of the reasons we stop seeing boats that sail away is because of the curve and when you are say standing on top of a mountain that is high enough you will see a curve.
