Title: lynx space camp
Post by: squevil on December 12, 2013, 03:39:37 AM
UK posters must of heard of this before. Lynx had a promotion to send 4 people into space.
Here is the official website:

One of the guys is from my town, that's why it is of interest.
This is the article from my local rag:

Dunno if this will spark some debate at all.

This is my thoughts on the matter. It did claim that they will experience zero g. I bet that will be fun.
Makes me wonder though if a deodorant can put 4 guys into space then why cant a company that is made for putting people into space not manage it?!

Like you acknowledged, maybe Lynx is not putting them very far up. Maybe space tourism companies are aiming for much higher altitudes, in comfort, with a reusable craft. It sounds like a different engineering challenge.

Isn't any personal observation zetetic?

Hopefully it will be recorded and we can see for ourselves.
