Hello, I am not a believer in the flat Earth, but I would like to hear others opinions on this. You say on your site that NASA and the government are changing photos and faking moon landings to make us think that the Earth is round, but why would they do this? What do they have to gain from us believing the round earth model?

Refrain from low-content posting in the upper fora. Warned.

Answer: FE's believe that the original moon landing (by the US) was faked because they wanted to get there before Russia. They also believe that every subsequent space mission and moon landing has been faked, but this time because NASA wants to embezzle the funds that are given to them for "rocket research."

This would be interesting. But it would not explain the thousands of years of round earth observations and successful predictions before NASA.

No, it wouldn't, but those tend to be ignored in favor of more FE supportive evidence.

That might be understandable if you happen to think that the world doesn't extend beyond NASA and the US. Those of us that don't live in the US don't pay federal taxes, we pay for our own space exploration, European Space Agency rockets and satellites, Japanese, Chinese and Indian space programmes, radio telescopes astronomical research and a huge plethora of other stuff that is nothing to do with the US, but confirms the research that NASA has been carrying out.
