Title: Unresolved DNS server name
Post by: Rushy on December 03, 2013, 01:34:02 AM
My work computer can not access this site due to that. I know the base uses their own DNS server, so is it something with that? Or do you computer peoples have a different idea of what the problem is?

All of the authoritative name servers for sjm.so are responding correctly to queries for theflatearthsociety.sjm.so. This sounds to me like a problem at your workplace, but if you are able to gather any more detail (such as which name is unresolved), I might be able to investigate further.

Well since they have disabled all of my admin rights, including command prompts, I would have to just ask the communications office directly, and I'm totally not going to do that. I'll figure something out, I guess.
