This is moon orbit:
Perigee 362.600 kms (356400–370400 kms)
Apogee 405.400 kms (404000–406700 kms)
Diameter of the moon is: 3.474 kms
This is the distance of the sun:
average from Earth 149.600.000 kms
Nearest 147.000.000kms
Furthest 152.000.000 kms
Diameter of the sun is 1.392.000 kms
When the solar eclipse occurs, then the moon completely covers the sun and we see their shape as same.
If we see the shapes as same shape, the length ratios always same with diameter ratios.
But the moon orbit changing from 356.400 to 406.700 kms ( difference %14 )
And the earth orbit to sun is changing from 147.000.000 to 152.000.000 (difference %3)
Summing them we find %17 maximum difference of seems shapes .
If the moon at the nearest point and the sun is furtest point and if they are cover, then the opposite is impoossible. 17 percent are exposed to the sun.
With shape:

Precise and deadly ;D

Good job, you just figured out what an annular eclipse is!
Here, let me google that for you if you don't already know:
An annular solar eclipse occurs when the moon is furthest from the Earth. On these occasions the moon will appear to be smaller and not fully eclipse the sun.

I know what am i said. Here is a workshop not a debate area. if it is, i was writing something else.

This is a workshop for the annotated version of the Rowbotham book, "Earth, Not a Globe". Perhaps this thread should be moved?

Read all rules about this board. It makes you non-ignorant.
Debate between globularism and planarism does not count as relevant. This is not a debate board.
In Turkish there is a verb like that:
"Okumak cehaleti alır, eşeklik baki kalır".
It is hard to translate so i wrote it exactly same. :)

This board is dedicated to discussing and working on the annotated Earth Not a Globe.
Hmm...maybe you should read the rules or show me where in ENaG this is...

Good catch, Thatsnice.

I think he mean if the Moon was near perigee and the Earth is near aphelion then a Solar eclipse occur, the Sun and Moon looks almost the same size.
I'm not so sure if it's true, never seen photo showing a total solar eclipse at perigee-aphelion and neither how does this suppose to debunk the Moon's orbit, could be just an optical illusion by the immense brightness of the Sun.

Honestly I have no idea if that's what he's trying to say, it just seems as though he was trying to argue against the existence of the annular eclipse. You could be right, however.

How a catch is this?

This thread opened to: "Earth Not a Globe Workshop"
My working doesn't finished, but by using the jackboot were moved "debate section" and opened to discussion.
As a protest I won't write anymore in the "Earth Not a Globe Workshop" and "Flat Earth Debate" sections. Because nobody asked me am i agree this topic will be moved or not. I see this as a kind of persecution.
These things don't happen this way in an environment of mutual respect! Respect do cause respect.

You don't understand. Earth Not A Globe Workshop is for people talking about the BOOK "Earth, Not a Globe" by Rowbotham. You weren't in the right section. Put it into the information repository if you're working on it.

Oh my Chris Isaac. :)
