Title: The Red Cup of War
Post by: Lord Dave on November 11, 2015, 05:01:09 AM
So, I've been seeing talk about the red Starbucks cup on my Facebook feed and have finally looked into what the actual argument is.

That article seems to explain it well.  Has anyone else seen this hate over a cup?  Anyone care?

I didn't read the article since you didnt really make an argument in your post, but it is likely just a red cup and not a political movement.

No argument. Just curious if others have noticed.  It seems to be very big yet also small?  Like its loud but only if you read about it.

Only if it has winter images on it.  Otherwise, it means war against Christians.

Ah, of course. Like the colours of the Republican Party?

Perhaps as Starbucks was named after the Quaker first mate in Moby Dick, and Quakers don't do Christmas as it's based on pagan festivals, the whole thing is about religious schism.
