Are the kind of posts that flatearther43.2 is making in CN (ones with gigantic images and huge amounts of line breaks, both of which essentially render the thread unreadable) considered to be against the rules and/or otherwise prohibited? If so, then he should be getting warned or banned for it like with any other offense, instead of his posts simply being edited and nothing else. He's not going to stop if there aren't any consequences for his actions. Also, we might want to make it more clear that what he's doing is against the rules, because right now it seems like only junker is editing those posts.
For what it's worth, I'm entirely in favor of prohibiting such crash-your-browser posts. They're far too disruptive, even for CN.

His actions are not against the currently-written rules. I make a judgement call to edit browser crashing posts because it is disruptive, even if not being against the rules. I've warned him one time for spamming outside of the lower fora, which he then ceased that behavior. I'm all for amending the rules to include prohibiting the spamming-type behavior, which has been excessive by this one user. I don't want to overreact, however, since this is the only time we have had an issue with it. I presume he will get bored of it and stop posting at some point, and the moderation team can make a judgement call on what to do with his spam until such time the rules are changed.

God bless you Junker. You are a gentleman and a scholar. A pleasant day to you.

I've temporarily banned him from posting for a bit due to excessive spamming.

So I broke no rules yet was banned. Sounds like official flat earth logic to me!
