Title: Flight from South America to Australia
Post by: A_Buffer on October 08, 2015, 01:46:58 PM
Hello guys,
How it is explained in FET that flight route let's say from Perth to Rio de Janeiro is shown conducted with transfer via city in South Africa?
Given the fact, that according to FE map flight route should be better go somewhere through the Polar circle.

There is also a post on another FES Forum website:

The distance from Sydney to Perth in Australia and distance from Jacksonville, Florida to San Diego, California should be about the same.

But: using this map : http://wiki.tfes.org/images/4/43/Map.png (http://wiki.tfes.org/images/4/43/Map.png)
The distance from Sydney to Perth is much greater than the distance from Jacksonville to San Diego.
