Title: How does Nautical miles Lat and Longtitude works in Flat earth

Am wondering how these Nautical miles and Latitude and Longitude works in flat earth , is flat earth have any map which have lat and long like globe because on globe lat and long are considered very accurate to measure position in air and sea. so how these work on flat earth . one professor was telling me that if earth is not ball then how comes Nautical miles and lat long used by ships are so accurate ?
