Title: Night and day / seasons

I came across the explanations for seasons and night/day cycle.
I think that the two charts can't work together, so to me all this doesn't make sense.
Can anybody explain, or prove me wrong?

If you have an argument to make, make it. Don't expect us to magically guess what your objection is.
