Title: What are the other models?
Post by: manicminer on March 20, 2019, 08:28:17 AM
I hear regular references to the fact that there are various FE models but in the Wiki FAQ page I can only find reference to one, the monopole with the NP marking the centre.

The description of an orbiting Sun over the NP simply doesn't work with this model so I would like to know how the motion and behaviour of the Sun over the course of the year varies with other models.

To make a model viable it at least has to agree with real world observations.

The "Antartica" (https://wiki.tfes.org/Antarctica) page on the Wiki also shows the Bi-Pole Model.

Ok and how does the Sun work on that then and whereabouts is the ice wall as it doesn't seem to be shown?
