No, because that would be impossible. Impossible is considerably harder than "Oh no, it takes effort :("

The evidence just keeps piling on. The fact that people think the USA went to the moon is preposterous. You can tell by some of the pictures that they're shooped, because I've seen a lot of shops in my time and I can tell from some of the pixels in the lightning and particle effects. Looks like they actually might have used GIMP for this one, an early prototype of GIMP of course considering the time period.

Seriously? This was the best shoop that NASA could pull? I can see little plus signs all over the damn picture. It's like they didn't even try to hide the shoop in this one.
-
or just maybe its because the pictures are old and were taken by equipment meant for reliability rather than good shots do you believe this ship exists
-
in excess of 400 000 people would of had to of lied and kept their silence do you think each and every one of those people could of stayed quiet. and those crosses on the picture are from the lens protection because all the pictures have been uploaded and cleaned up its shown things that weren't visible or changed the lighting of the photos somewhat remember these pictures were taken on film not digital photography like now and even then the equipment isn't like anything for earth it was built for space. and just how are the laser reflectors on the moon explained tell me about them and how they were faked.
-

Yes. The Conspiracy makes billions by pretending the earth is round. Enough money to shut a few people up.
-

How did you arrive at this figure?
-
and just how are the laser reflectors on the moon explained tell me about them and how they were faked.
They were placed there by an unmanned probe, obviously. Just because some metal is on the moon doesn't mean a human being actually went and placed it there, so you're jumping to conclusions.
Also, even if the pictures were taken on film, why are there little plus signs all over it? They could have easily edited those out, but they didn't. I'm guessing NASA put those plus signs on some off the pictures to make it seem like they were using some high-tech space recorder that superimposes those plus signs all over the picture. I don't buy it.
If we landed on the moon once why can't we do it again? We haven't gone back. I think that's proof enough that the moon landing was an elaborate hoax to make it appear as if we (USA) won the space race.

Yes, crosshairs etched onto a Reseau plate (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Reseau_plate) is high tech. ::)
-
we can go back you guys wont fund it, and the crosshairs were on the lenses they only show up on the digitised photos remember they aren't all that great there were thousands of photos the few that are popular were chosen because they look good

This is a novel approach. Most people say the fact that we think the earth is flat makes us look silly. :) Easy to go to the moon, eh? Trot on up there, then. Clearly, if it were easy to go to the moon it wouldn't have been such a big deal... and if it'd been easier to go than to fake the trip, we would have gone.
-
please don't get into the moon hoax stuff it really makes you look silly, if nasa went to all the trouble of faking everything wouldn't it of been easier to of just gone to the moon
Because of people like you. If NASA just "went to the moon" too easily because of it being not real people would begin to question whether it was real or not.
But since they made the process so elaborate and realistic, gullible people like yourself choose to believe it.
Joel 2:31 says "The sun shall be turned to darkness, and the moon to blood, before the great and awesome day of the Lord comes."
Now does that sound like something that could really happen to you? If the moon was real? If the moon was real, it wouldn't be possible for it to turn into blood. Only something artificial could turn into blood. That's all the proof I need honestly.

And the blood moon does exist. If you don't believe in God or Flat Earth Theory...look no further than the moon. I think we actually had a "blood moon" recently. That exists. Fact.
So what does the blood moon tell us?
1) God is real.
2) The moon is fake.
3) The earth is flat.
-
"Blood Moon" is a nickname given to a total eclipse of the moon. There is nothing religious about it and it certainly doesn't prove that "God is real" or that "the moon is fake". Where are you getting these notions?
An eclipse is an obscuring of the light from one celestial body by the passage of another between it and the observer or between it and its source of illumination. It is an observable phenomenon with a scientific explanation, and the fact that eclipse exist is actually evidence that the Earth is round... since the shadow of Earth on the moon is round.

I think he's taking the literal "moon literally turns to blood" approach. I also personally believe he's a troll or an alt, and is best ignored.

Someone has already told you that the shadow on the moon is from the anti-moon.

Would you, or anyone, care to show how the anti-moon could explain the penumbral and umbral stages of the lunar eclipse? A simple diagram showing the moon, anti-moon, any source of illumination for the moon (if the sun is not self-luminous) and the flat earth would go a long way in shutting up the non-believers.

On the old site someone went through and compiled a list of how many people would actually be required to know. I don't think it was above a few dozen and his reasoning was quite solid.

A few dozen seems low, since you would have many times that amount "attending a launch". That being said, 400,000 is a preposterous number.
-
that number would include all the guards as well and everyone involved in earlier tests like Gemini launches

You mean the mission control? They can be given the information they're expecting. It's not like they're there on the ship.

Nice name dropping. One could argue that Buzz Aldrin doesn't even exist. The man playing him in video footage and recordings is an actor. I wouldn't be surprised if most people in your life were actually paid actors/actresses working for the government.

so what everything I could use as evidence for the moon landings cant be used because apparently the government planted it. but on a side note why didn't the soviets point out they were fake and don't say they cooperated these were two countries that were prepared to end the world with a fight and several times came very close to doing it and wouldn't agree on anything basically, having the sworn enemy of the americans admit they landed on the moon is good evidence of it right
-
The soviets only pretend to be at war so nobody suspects the earth is flat.
-
yes helping any opposing faction to an American faction fight that faction is pretend, or do we all forget the soviet 'advisors' in korea and vietnam

Soviet advisors in Vietnam
During the Vietnam War, the Soviet Union provided technical and material assistance to its North Vietnamese ally. The Soviets sent air defense equipment and personnel to equip and train the North Vietnamese. Experienced Soviet Air Force pilots and maintenance personnel were sent to train and repair MiG aircraft flown by the North Vietnamese and to provide advice and assistance to North Vietnamese anti-air defense forces that were shooting down American combat aircraft with Soviet missile equipment.
About four years ago, the U.S. side began to gather evidence that Soviet officials directly interrogated American POWs in Southeast Asia during the Vietnam War. This project examined information from three primary sources: the testimony of former American POWs; the testimony of Soviet veterans of the Vietnam War who had knowledge of direct Soviet participation in POW interrogation; and U.S. Intelligence Community reports that suggest the Soviets sought or obtained direct access to American POWs for interrogation. The research conducted in support of this project shows that Soviet officials participated in interrogation of American POWs and received interrogation reports from the North Vietnamese. It is reasonable to assume that Soviet military officials generated these reports in North Vietnam and forwarded them to Moscow for processing. These interrogation reports should be available today in Russian archives [probably those of the Main Intelligence Directorate (GRU) and the Committee for State Security (KGB)] and might contribute to clarifying the fates of unaccounted-for Americans. For this reason, the U.S. side seeks access to these materials.
Early in the Vietnam War, a Soviet special group, or "spetsgruppa," composed of GRU officers and employees from various Soviet military industrial organizations, was deployed to North Vietnam to acquire captured American combat equipment and to arrange for shipment of this equipment to the Soviet Union for technical exploitation. Although the U.S. has no interest in the classified aspects of this program, Soviet spetsgruppa members and technicians may be able to provide new details about shoot-down incidents in North Vietnam. For instance, in 1992, representatives of Task Force Russia (the predecessor of JCSD) discovered an F-111 crew capsule at the Moscow Aviation Institute. With assistance from FBI experts, Task Force Russia analysts correlated the capsule to a specific shoot-down incident. While the crew that was flying this particular F-111 is accounted for, discovery of the capsule in a Russian facility demonstrates the potential that American combat equipment now held by the Russians might provide clues to the fates of crew members who did not return. Archival records documenting the spetsgruppa’s work might also provide valuable information about American loss incidents during the war. The U.S. side has pressed the Russian side repeatedly for access to these archival materials and for interviews with spetsgruppa members and continues to press for more information. The Russian side has expressed a willingness to assist the U.S. side in locating spetsgruppa members but has yet to fulfill this promise.

so how do we explain the laser reflectors that are on the moon, or the photos that have been taken of the junk left on the moon and the fact a heap of independent people listened in on the transmissions or the fact there were many places outside of America that caught the images like parkes in new south wales and ive been there (they have this fully sick model of the dishes and you can move it around and a thing showing how they work outside you say something into one dish and you can hear it at the other, cool stuff)
-
so how do we explain the laser reflectors that are on the moon
How does this prove we've been to the moon, as in... walked on it? We can easily launch things at the moon. That's how you get the laser reflector and other various debris on the moon.
-
We were also supposedly shining lasers at them moon and receiving photons back over 5 years before the alleged first moon landing.

What's your point? Retroreflectors just make laser ranging easier and more accurate.
-
The moon reflecting light can never be evidence of the moon landing. The moon has reflected light for longer than the existence of man kind.

But how well the Moon reflects a light directed at the landing sites is evidence, really convincing evidence. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MythBusters_(2008_season)#Moon_Laser

The moon reflects light directed anywhere at it. If it did not, then you would not be able to see it.

So you're arguing that the Moon does not absorb any light? Really?
Also, more than just reflection is involved in the experiment. The direction, intensity, and color shift of the reflection all play important roles. Please watch the MB episode again.

Where did I say that? You would have such an easier time understanding other people if you stopped trying read words that aren't being said. In a debate, all the knowledge about the other person you need is in their posts.

All of those variables simply depend on the type of laser being used.

You might want to look at the punctuation at the end of my question. I asked if that was your position. I did not say that it was your position. Please pay attention. Would you now do us all the favor of answering my questions? Thanks.

No, they depend on quite a variety of factors beyond just the type of laser being used. I'd say that some or all of the following, and probably more, influence the result: the color of the Moon's surface targeted, the longitude and latitude targeted, the amount of moisture in the atmosphere between the source and the target, and the reflective properties of the target. Why would a laser even have to be used?
