Spoke with Yaakov today on the phone. He bought a brewer and felt he couldn't use it until it had been blessed by a rabbi. Yaakov then took his brewer to a rabbi and had it submerged. He is now demanding a refund on the machine.
As he should. It's anti-semitism not to design all machines to be waterproof. He should sue for discrimination, regardless of whether they give him a refund.
I authorize refunds and he's not getting one. He'll have to press charges, on himself. For being an idiot.
I would send him a replacement but who's to say he's not going to short it out again by submerging it in miracle water?
And Junker, what the hell. The stupidity of these people blows my mind sometimes.
Disclaimer. I am not sure if it was actually Yaakov, but it might as well have been him.
