Does the mining time per bitcoin fluctuate with it's value?

No, the block time for the Bitcoin network is always targeted to be 10 minutes (it's usually something closer to 9.5 minutes). Since bitcoin mining is such a large scale task these days, the hash rate doesn't respond very quickly to price changes.

I should have done more research before sounding off about this. You guys are right, it's a blatant double standard in favor of "established" wealthy investors. I think I'm just biased against meme communities in general after "ironic" meme culture played a big role in getting Trump elected, but that's no reason not to call out bullshit when we see it. It's nice to see some Democrats and Republicans united in fighting this.

The only thing both parties are united about is making sure this can't happen again: by crushing retail investors with even more regulations. inb4 shares are for accredited investors only, regulated in some act with an ironic name, like Retail Investor Protection Act or Consumer Preservation Act.

Many users are now reporting that TD Ameritrade and Robinhood are not allowing them to purchase stocks such as BB, GME or AMC. Larger institutions are now showing just how much control they can exert.

The double standard is the issue. The hedge fund that shorted Gamestop was actively trying to bring about GameStop’s bankruptcy for profit. The redditors fucked them over by broadcasting publicly available knowledge. There is a difference between their actions. No one gave a shit about what the hedge fund was up to but the redditors have no gone too far? It’s a laughably thin cover for oligarch’s crying because they got punched in the nose and are mad at the filthy masses.

Wallstreetbets should play by the same rules: start picking real estate trusts and short them into oblivion. Bankrupt landlords overnight while making money doing it. We'll suddenly see Wall Street's tune change about how great shorting is for the market. This is just another case of "rules for thee not rules for me" where big institutions are crying about getting blasted by what they consider to be the peasantry.

"Microsoft, Oracle and and other tech giants team up Covid-19 vaccine 'passports'"

Quote
Some of the country's biggest tech firms and health care organizations have joined together to help facilitate that return to "normal." The group, called the Vaccine Credential Initiative, wants to ensure that everyone has access to a secure, digital record of their Covid-19 vaccination — like a digital vaccine passport — that can be stored in people's smartphones. The records could be used for everything from airline travel to entering concert venues.

I for one am glad that oversized tech companies are now being given power to whitelist people. I am certain that this system will not be abused in any way and mistakes will not be made. This will not set any dangerous precedents for private organizations to maintain deeper control over other people's activities.

Also I wasn't too fond of the industrial metal soundtrack, it sounded kind of tacky to me.

Illegal opinion. Report to the nearest education center.

Black people rioted for months and changed nothing while just making their lives worse for the trouble.

White people riot for a single day and strike fear directly into the hearts of Congress. Had they actually had ill intentions, most of the this country's federal government would be dead right now. The very fact that they're alive shows that the storming of the Capitol wasn't remotely violent. Let me know when thousands of people storm the Capitol and it leaves thousands dead or wounded, then you'll know it was a violent affair.

It's not too late. In the future, Bitcoin will be worth over 50 million dollars each. Even a single coin will make the rest of your life easy.

From their high of over $1,100 they are now worth about half of that. I hope you haven't put too much of your savings into them.

My favorite glitch was when I called my car, so it phases through a solid concrete wall, drove through several cargo containers and then drove across a river (not using a bridge) just to get to me.

I'm playing on hard difficulty and I haven't used any gun aside from the pistol I started with and a katana. Melee combat with the katana is incredibly overpowered and the game's AI can't handle you sprinting up to them and stabbing them. Speccing into blades even makes it so sprinting around causes your armor to increase 30% and for your evasion to go up, so not only can you just sprint up to people and stab them but they do less damage to you and a considerable amount of time they'll simply do no damage at all.
