Flat Earth March at Millersville University
« on: January 28, 2019, 08:03:45 PM »
Hi, I am an avid flat earther and I am a student at Millersville University in Lancaster PA. I am looking for literature, merchandise, and anything to help spread the word around my campus. Anything would be really appreciated! Thanks Zacc

You can find the necessary materials in our Wiki, library, and store.

Thanks, Tom! do you have any specific links to the media or merchandise that TFES would want prominently shown to the public?

If I can make a request, if you do link to any of our merchandise, please include a brief note to indicate that none of the proceeds go to the Flat Earth Society. Our shop's prices are set at CafePress's base prices, with no markup going to us.

I feel this is important for two reasons:
  • If any buyers are under the impression that they're supporting us financially by buying the merch, they're mistaken.
  • We are occasionally accused of running the shop for profit, and that accusation is usually cast with a hint of accusing us of insincerity.

I like the following slogans:

"NASA says that everything is
known about the world and you are
stupid to consider anything otherwise"

"Looks Flat to Me"

"Galileo Proved Earth Accelerates Upwards.
Bodies Fall Without Inertial Resistance."

"Moon Landing:
No Peer Review"

"Water Not Convex
Earth Not a Globe"

"We Demand Real Evidence,
Not Claims of Illusions"

"The Three Body Problem:
Newton's Sun-Earth-Moon System
Impossible
300 Years of Farcical Failure"

"Space is Fake!
Research Astronauts on
Wires, Bubbles in Space"

This is kind of coincidentally interesting. Millersville University's Physics experiment of the month (many months ago):

From the Alternative Model section of that link it appears that Millersville is saying that a close sun is a possible interpretation from trigonometry, and can only attempt to discount it based on a different matter of the sun's angular size.

Another slogan:

"Millersville Physics Dept. Says
A Close Sun is Possible.
Astronomy Uncontrolled
& Based on Speculation."

It doesn't appear to saying that to me Tom.  It actually says...

Quote
We conclude that the flat earth/near sun model does not work

They didn't conclude that based on the method in the article, they concluded that a close sun was possible with the methods. They are talking about the sun's angular size, another matter, to which they did not read Earth Not a Globe or our Wiki.

With real science, experiments are controlled, analyzed, tested in many different scenarios, to the nth degree, and there is much more certainty with the results. See: Chemistry

A friendly reminder to stay on topic. Zacc was looking for some advice on merch for an event, not a two-page cockfight over the small/local Sun.
