Flat Earth Theory / Re: Walking in a straight line

I agree with John Adams, our second president back from the dead!  It wouldn't be very easy.  The only way I can think of off the top of my head is sending a small craft to space and making sure it has cameras that haven't been tampered with.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why is earth special?
« on: January 03, 2018, 06:21:13 PM »
This is all explained by my COT hypothesis (Celestial Ocean Theory). I suggest you read up on it here: https://forum.tfes.org/index.php?topic=8294.0

Now, to your questions.

1: Gravity does not exist; it is a product of a biased scientific community. Everything in observable physics can be explained through the laws of buoyancy, no gravity needed. The Universe, encased in the Celestial Ocean, accelerates upwards.

2: The planets do exist. Or, well, they do not exist in the same way NASA tells you. In my Celestial Ocean Theory, which I find the most reliable, the planets - as well as meteorites - are simply debris generated by cracks in the Firmament. This debris floats above the Sun and the Moon as the laws of buoyancy dictate.

3: The exact nature of the ice walls are unknown, but according to COT, they are not actually holding the oceans in; they are simply supporting the Firmament. We will probably never get to know the exact nature of the Ice Walls because Antarctica is heavily guarded and it is almost impossible for civilians to be allowed to reach the South Pole (Because it doesn't exist).

4: They have, but the scientific community is littered with frauds and corrupt shills. NASA and other pro-globe organizations force scientists to spread misinformation and to suppress evidence of the Flat Earth.
1.I know what my profile text thingy says, but I will have to break it to be honest to you:  The Celestial Ocean Theory is the one of the most idiotic things I have ever read.  Curious George could invent a better theory.  I also don't get how come Libyan Desert Glass is made out of the same material as Mars and the Moon or how come all planets and moons are made of the same exact material.  They aren't, so "The Firmament" is made out of lots of different compounds, each in a certain section that has to fall out together.

I honestly think that the FE Society should raise some money to launch a CubeSat into space with hardened electronics, a rudimentary inertial navigation system to roughly detect altitude and location, and a camera of their choosing. You can use hardware security modules and some circuits to detect tampering with a clear chain of custody up to the launch company. It's not ridiculously expensive, and this should settle the debate once and for all.
It has been suggested before, but I've never heard of them approving the idea and doing it.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Tides.
« on: January 03, 2018, 05:39:08 PM »
The tide is either the rising and falling of the water in relation to the land; or the rising and falling of the land in relation to the water; but as it is not at this stage decided which is the case, the following must be the definition of the word tide:

DEFINITION.--Tide is the relative change of level between land and water.-"The Good Book"

So either seawater is such a cold liquid that it is super-fluid and waves are the government lifting metal spikes out of the sea(Also, we are unable to tell the super cold temperature of water and can live while completely submerged in less than 0 degrees Kelvin(K=C-273)) or the earth magically moves up and down at certain times.

His calculations are not bunk, they're quite accurate. They're predictable AND have been repeated and confirmed.

The localized gravity map simply adds onto the already-known differences in gravity based on latitude.

As for your last paragraph, what evidence do you have to prove that NASA's data is bunk?-nickrulercreator

They don't.  The fact remains that NASA hasn't done much lying to us, and doesn't usually.

What do you think, Guest? Good shit, or bunk shit?

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Problems with Governmental Cover-up

Thank you.  I didn't understand that.  I am thankful you informed me of that.

They [airliners] would also have to be constantly climbing to keep from being caught by the earth while it is accelerating at 9.8 m/s.

Here's another scenario I have not seen addressed as yet. The earth accelerates upward. Do all objects associated with the earth, or in the vicinity of the earth, accelerate similarly? The sun, moon and planets which circle above the earth remain in place (save for the curious vertical variations in their orbits required to explain seasons, eclipses, etc.), relative to the earth, causing one to infer that they are under the influence of the same "unknown force".

My dad had the same question!  Thank you so much for bringing this up!  And Tom, I get that they continuously climb, but they would have to climb at a much higher rate.

Flat Earth Theory / Problems with Governmental Cover-up
« on: December 13, 2017, 06:37:53 PM »
So I saw an interesting post about how a flight from Sydney, Australia to Johannesburg, South Africa would go over Asia on the FE.  So it got me thinking: How would the cover-up of a flat earth work?
Problem 1:  My first question was: Wouldn't they have to get the Pilots in on it?  Commercial Airliners would see the flights going over places they wouldn't on a flat earth through the windows, and might see the curvature of the earth if flying high enough.  They would also have to be constantly climbing to keep from
being caught by the earth while it is accelerating at 9.8 m/s.  The cost would be extraordinary, which brings us to the next problem.
Problem 2: The cost is another problem.  I'm not going to try to calculate it, but the films of earth from space would have to use technology they didn't have.  The Commercial Airliners cost a ton.  I'm not going to think about every single thing that would have to have been faked, but the cost would be too large already.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: FET's Credit Score
« on: December 13, 2017, 02:49:20 PM »
I would like to again bring credit score to the spotlight.  I like that scoring system.  When someone created the EmDrive, which breaks the laws of the conservation of energy, they owed reproducible results.  They were reproduced, and now are in not nearly as much doubt.  The round earth theory has been reproduced, by many scientists, while the FE has shown little proof, but if shown proof, many would doubt it less.

So here is my question: if the planet rotates in a circular motion, why would people not fly off the edge of the planet or die of the rapid changes in acceleration?
We wouldn't, because of gravity.  On the flat earth, what happens to the poor people on the bottom of the disk?:)

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Gravity, and the sun and moon
« on: December 11, 2017, 07:30:55 PM »
I’ll point you in a direction to try to help you, but I’m not going to bother trying to convince you of something since no one so far has shown the capacity to think beyond what they think they already know.
Science is not where we think beyond what we already know.  It is where we use what we already know to think beyond what we already know!  We can't confirm the Flat Earth, as it does not use any current proof or any proof of their own.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: FE discussion as a person in the science world
« on: December 06, 2017, 06:27:17 PM »
What I don't understand is what evidence points to this.  You appear to have no proven information, because if your source of proof is only things from 200 years ago(not exactly), you are out thought and outnumbered.   Show us scientific information that supports the FE!

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why do you think the Earth is flat
« on: December 01, 2017, 06:33:44 PM »
scientists around the globe believe the earth is flat.

The earth isn't flat, and clearly you agree with me.  You've been playing way too much Plague Inc.
