Flat Earth Theory / Re: Distance to Sun
« on: May 13, 2015, 07:04:25 PM »
Hallo,

I got a new question. What, in the believes of FET, is the distance between the surface of the earth and the sun (or the moon), just in the moment, as, say, the sun (or the moon) is directly overhead? A rough approximation would suffice...

3,000 miles! And before you get cute and ask why we're not all baking to death at that solar distance, the FE sun is obviously not as hot as the RE sun. There's an answer for everything! Why does it look like it dips below the horizon at sunset? Light bends, duh. It's really just disappearing in the atmolayer, double duh.

Because shadow governments get to pocket the money they are actually spending on space travel. If what you're really asking is, "Doesn't it make more sense that we are capable of space travel than having to construct an intricate and far-ranging global conspiracy just to explain away what amounts to a huge problem for Flat Earth theory?" then the answer is, "Yes."

You find it curious that one of the countries that built and maintains the ISS is helping with cargo and personnel missions? That 'I' stands for 'International.' Aside from the Russians, the Japanese fake missions to the station, and who knows about the Canadians and all of Europe. I find it amusing that you don't know that America has been launching cargo ships to the ISS since 2012, once a year, currently has a cargo ship docked, and SpaceX will be running four more missions before the end of the year.

I also heard that the Empire is building another Deathstar.

Even your retorts use out-of-date information!

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Ask a Flat Earth Theorist Anything

You do realize that Sonar uses sound waves but your picture depicts a weather balloon carrying a Radar reflector.

It may look like a radar reflector, but it is actually a hybrid of both a radar and sonar device. Both methods are used in gathering and creating data.
Given your history of not providing citations and believing that you need only say something to be credible, I hesitate asking, but do: Citations please. How did you determine that it;s a sonar device? What microphone could possibly hear sound reflected off such a device? Where is that diagram you committed to? Can you reproduce such data gathering and creating? Where is your data?

I'm eager to see what work Vauxhall has accomplished to this end in the last three months. Was it put into another thread? A search for "sonar" yields nothing more recent than this discussion. Thanks!

It is amusing that the US doesn't even bother faking ISS launches anymore and tells everyone the Russians are doing it for them. "Hey Russia, we just put a ton of sanctions on you, but could you send our people and supplies up to this space station? Thanks"

I find it all a bit curious.
