Diameter and Circumference of Flat Earth
« on: May 06, 2017, 01:26:30 AM »
In a previous thread, according to "The Sacred Texts", the diameter of the flat earth was listed as 10,400 miles ; the circumference 52,800 miles.
But using the diameter of 10,400 miles, and using mathematics with "pi" equals 3.14, the circumference works out to 32,656  miles.
Working it from circumference=52,800 miles, diameter=16,815 miles.

How are these  differences explained ?

I have read another of diameter of 25,000 miles ; circumference of 78,000 miles.

Which is correct ?

The wiki states that each latitude degree is 69.5 miles.  That's a radius of 12,510 miles and a circumference of 78,603 miles.

That is the correct answer. The diameter is 25,020 miles and the circumference is 78,603 miles.
If the ice wall existed and was guarded, the tremendous logistics should be evident.

The other figures quoted in the OP are from Rowbotham and obvious nonsense. He had a lot of double talk at how he arrived at those figures.

Virgil Fox, the famous concert organist, once said "Scott Joplin is the Grand-Son of Bach."
On the FES, Rowbotham has many Grand-Sons.....sandokhan, jroa, intikam, junker.......etc, etc, etc.......
