It seems that the world's favorite dictator's haircut, known as the Chinese smuggler haircut, is now going to be enforced by the fashion police. Literally. They already had a
list of approved hair styles and a TV show to name and shame those who don't comply, but now things are getting entirely too silly... or are they?
There is
some debate regarding the authenticity of this story. Some media suggest that
it's very unlikely, while others seem to state it as
factual. Some talk about all men having to follow the new rules, others say
it's only aimed at students.
Regardless of who is right, this story is a great example of Poe's Law in action. North Korea is so controversial in its policies that it's basically impossible to be sure one way or another.
