Flat Earth Theory / Re: Path of photons during sunset
« on: October 29, 2017, 07:26:52 AM »
I'm surprised that you are citing CERN J-Man, I thought they would necessarily be another part of the round earth conspiracy seeing as they claim to fire neutrinos underneath the earth's curve.
But moving on, if an anti-particle is one that can 'wobble' to behind an object, then why do anti-photons not wobble around other things, such as casting light directly on to a room's ceiling?

3dGeek, only if the accelerometer is in a vacuum to be fair.

63
No the phone can't orientate in free fall. Gravity and acceleration are indistinguishable as forces.
There are detectable differences between gravity and acceleration:
-distortion of the path of photons
-reduced gravity with both height and depth within the earth
-variation of gravity across the earth's surface

64
In both FET and RET the smartphones contain accelerometers that measure acceleration and gravity applying to a phone.
The output is then passed to the operating system and then the onscreen app, The apps by default ignore this but a library function can be included to alter the apps layout or functionality.
If you would like more detail I think that android has a java machine between the sensor and the OS.

Flat Earth Theory / How does FET explain the Lowhigh tide?
« on: October 22, 2017, 01:13:15 PM »
The wiki states that the high tide is caused by the sun or moons gravity pulling on the water. This does not explain why a high tide would appear on the opposite side of the equator.
Would the flat earth not have a low tide at the furthest point from the sun?

66
Read the wiki,
The main explanation is that the sun moon and stars rotate above the earth while planets are a refraction from the sun of some sort.
(The sun being a spotlight that points downwards)

67
True, I had ignored that as I have read it wasn't taken seriously.

For the ice wall theory though, everyone draws the northern hemisphere as the centre.

68
Every flat earth theory map I have seen put the north pole in the centre of the map.

How do you know that the ice wall isn't in the North? Is there any evidence to support this?

If the lights were a natural phenomenon then wouldn't ancient civilisations have charted or otherwise recorded them as they did with all other lights in the sky?

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Where do the rockets go?
« on: October 16, 2017, 07:55:04 AM »
J-man the article you posted states the videos claims as "The film alleges that the crew never left low Earth orbit, but were able to fake images of a distant-looking globe by zooming in on a window of the spacecraft."
So if you want to accept that as proof, they were in the craft, in orbit, and the globe photos are genuine but not taken from the moon.
Did I miss anything?

J-man, can you link some of those videos you are talking about?

With 1 the first rocket launches would have been detected by the Russians with their long range missile sensors so this theory would need to explain why Russia did not wish to discredit their enemy in the space race.

With 3 the response to the satellites, they cannot exist under the FET as many pass over the antarctic and would need to appear immediately on the far side of the flat earth.

Flat Earth Theory / Re: Why use lead in all of histories experiments?
« on: October 14, 2017, 06:16:18 PM »
It is the most dense material that is commonly available.
Galileo used wood and other metals and found little change in the speed they fell.

73
The gravity at the equator is 9.780 m/s2 at the pole is about 9.832 m/s2, where I am the gravity is about 9.81 m/s2

RE say that the lower gravity is caused by the earths rotation and the centre petal force.
How does the FE theory answer this?
