The OpenBSD 5.8 thread
« on: August 07, 2015, 06:33:59 PM »
Because we don't have one of these and it's coming out in two months. Post horror stories and/or praise.

The release date is set as 18 October; two weeks earlier than normal, to coincide with OpenBSD's 20th birthday (based on the first CVS commit). To mark the occasion, a big surprise release theme is on the way, along with what will apparently be five different release songs.

Given the high standard of release artwork OpenBSD has set for itself, I'm really excited to see what they're doing for the big 20. Should be a release to remember.
when you try to mock anyone while also running the flat earth society. Lol

BSD, how we love thee,
Constant bugs, and filling soda mugs
Leave me working on an OS that's free.

Clickety clack, coding, that's my knack,
My beard is grand and full of salty snack
IE? Don't even try me. Never I'll install a Service Pack.

Sudo apt get off my server rack.
It's not Linux, novice. Can't keep up? Get a Mac.

My keys are cherries, I'm laying down queries.
My scripts are prime, I got my thinkpad for a dime.
Kernel, docs, drivers, my package is complete.
Siri? Who's that. A girl? No time to meet.
