It was weak.
iPhone 8 looks fine, still not going to buy a phone without a headphone jack (most likely).
iPhone X looks pretty unpolished (aside from being overpriced). The sensor bar up top makes the display look pretty awful.
The new watch and OS for it look kind of cool. Probably the most interesting thing I saw from the event.
2/10 Steve would be disappoint.

All Apple products are overpriced, so adding that addendum without at least adding it to every product you mentioned is pointless.
Also, Apple's continued refusal to create a touchscreen Mac is extra lolzy.

I mean, their smartphone prices are in line with other flagships so that isn't really true.
And touchscreen laptops are gross.

Overpricing their products because their competition also overpriced theirs isn't very reassuring.
Gross? The X1 Yoga is amazing, I use it every day for school. Paper notebooks are for peasants.

Junker is old and old people hate touchscreens because it confuses their ancient brains.

This is true. I finally bought a Switch yesterday and refuse to touch the screen.
Touchscreen laptops are still gross tho.

Yeah, I'm really not a fan of touchscreen laptops either, and the idea is especially bad for MacBooks because Apple have the touchpad UX figured out. Adding a touchscreen means either split focus or half-assed implementation.
Besides, having to touch a display standing upright on a desk is always an ergonomics disaster.

They really are. I can sort of see the point if it's convertible into a tablet, but even then, I'd much rather just buy a separate tablet.

The Galaxy Note 8 is only $70 cheaper.

If you lower the price of the iPhone X, then the Note will probably have a comparable price adjustment. See how that works? Value is determined by the market, not your fanboy whims.

It's almost like buying the newest, overpriced phone is a ripoff or something. Value is determined by the market, and the market for the latest, greatest smartphone is inundated with copious amounts of money and scarce intellect.

Value is determined by the market, and the market for the latest, greatest Star Citizen ship is inundated with copious amounts of money and scarce intellect.
Fixed that for you m8

iPhones last but a few years, virtual spaceships are forever.

Actually they last until CIG turns their servers off.

Or until the player outgrows their use due to leveling and such and discards it for inventory space. Much like how Apple products go: they become obsolete.

That really isn't how Star Citizen works. But I think we're getting a little off topic here, so let's either take this elsewhere or stop here.
