Title: The Milky Way
Post by: 9 out of 10 doctors agree on April 25, 2018, 10:02:47 PM
In a flat Earth, would the Milky Way be billions of discrete points of light (like in Round Earth) or would it be a continuous, luminous gas?

I've wondered this myself actually. We can't exactly depend on what "they" tell us about it, can we? Empirically we can't discern any discrete points of light so I would lean towards the latter, but without being able to directly observe its content I think it would be a bit presumptuous to assume it's a gas.
