Flat Earth Theory / What 4 year Span of Time Did USA & Russia Send Nukes Into Space?

I heard while viewing flat earth evidence, that right before the "moon landing," that USA and Russia were sending nukes into space for a 4 year straight span of time. Covered Up by by "Competition" between USA & Russia but then a fake moon landing? It sounds like the government is pretty scared of whats on the other side of the firmament. However I cant find any information of this. anyone out there know anything about this?
