Title: Asking questions to understand Flat Earthers better!

Hello everyone,

I'm currently a Globe Earther, working on a school project to understand Flat Earthers better. For most of my life, I have been told those who believe in Flat Earth are objectively wrong, but there is such a large following behind it. I want to get to know your viewpoint better and to help shape the way I view my world. I have a few questions to ask if anyone is willing to answer. Feel free to e-mail me for anything else!

1. What made you believe in Flat Earth?

2. Have you had negative social consequences for being Flat Earther?

3. Do you consider yourself part of the Flat Earth community?

4. Have you found any benefits to believing in a Flat Earth?

5. Why would people lie about the Earth being flat? This is the biggest part of Flat Earth theory that I'm puzzled by, and I'm really curious to hear your answers!

1. When I look out my window, I see a flat earth.

5. I don't think anyone is lying, per se.
