This is apparently co-created by Nintendo. I am extremely skeptical.

Quote from: Article
Nintendo is very protective of its intellectual property and has allowed few adaptations over the years. An animated “Legend of Zelda” series ran for just one season in 1989. A 1993 movie based on Nintendo’s “Super Mario Bros.” was an infamous bomb.

I'm skeptical anything will be produced. Nintendo has a lot of awesome content that they don't want to make into movies after how horrible the product has always been when they let their IP be used for TV shows or movies. If you haven't checked out the monstrosity that was the Super Mario Bros movie, don't.
You don't think I'm going to post here sober, do you?  ???

I have embraced my Benny Franko side. I'm sleazy.

Oh I've seen it, Franklin. That's partially why I'm skeptical. This has Nintendo's blessing and support according to the article, which doesn't reassure me. I guess this is their next step at third party support after Hyrule Warriors.

I am extremely skeptical.

Well excuuuuuse me, Princess!

They should have brought back Captain N, the Game Master. He used a Power Glove. Remember the Power Glove?

I don't know what you're implying, but you're probably wrong.

Oh Din, please no!

Almost without exception, game to movie/ TV adaptations are terrible (I'm genuinely struggling to think of a good one) and Nintendo ones all the more so.
